With each DLC, Destiny 2’s world becomes richer in content; new treasure chests, puzzles, and weapons keep players on a constant hunt for new adventures.

This game takes place in Europa, a location that wasn’t playable before. While it has lots of content and challenges for all players, even the most experienced ones haven’t found some of the secret areas that the game hides. So, if you’re tired of protecting Earth’s last safe city, take a look around and see for yourself all the secret places that make Destiny 2: Beyond Light one of the best games out there.

10 The Confluence

You can find this area in the Dreaming City. Keep in mind that there are three ways to access this place. The first thing you need to do is find one of three taken portals: The Spine of Keres Taken Portal, the Rheasilvia Taken Portal, or the Gardens of Esila Taken Portal. Through these portals, you’ll go to different Confluence areas. You can also use these portals as a shortcut system; this trick is handy, seeing as this area has only one Transmat zone available.

In this place, you’ll find at least one valuable Ascendant Chest and, as a bonus point, it has breathtaking views, so try to explore all of its areas while you are there and enjoy.

9 Lake Of Shadows New Area

If you are an old-time Destiny 2 player, then maybe you remember this zone from a mission of the Curse of Osiris DLC. Located in Europa’s Dead Zone, it seems that Bungie reopened this zone in Beyond Light.

If you want to go to this area, you must boot up the Lake of Shadows strike, then go to the Maverik Square and find the first combat arena. Once you are there, you need to avoid going straight and instead find a way to take a hard left and keep your path through this route. You’ll see a broken bridge and the radio tower used in the Deadly Trial campaign mission. This reopening lets players have something left to do after they beat the game.

8 Ascendant Realm

Dreaming City is a place that hides many surprises; not only is it where you can find access to Confluence but the Ascendant Realm as well. If you are going through Dreaming City, you can find a portal that takes you to the latter, an extradimensional plane of existence where you will find some difficult challenges but with rewarding loot.

These portals are invisible until you’ve consumed the Tincture of Queensfoil; after you’ve done that, all the hidden platforms will appear. After that, solve the puzzles to enter the portals.

7 The Farm’s Secret Space

Players have found a little room located in The Farm social space. However, this small area does not seem to offer anything interesting for future updates. To visit this place, go to the house with the water wheel and step on the porch, from there you’ll see a window covered by a red cloth.

Jump to the red cloth, go through the window, and you will find a small empty room with no decoration. Some players think that this area is meant to be a place to socialize, while other fans believe that this is a joke from the developers to troll them.

6 Ana Bray Hangar Room

Located in The Tower, developers wanted players to find this remote area as some lore items were in the Ana Bray Hangar Room. Once you go inside, you are in a conference room with Daito’s words across the screens and Ana Bray’s journal.

Now figure out the connection between Daito and the Journal, and if you dig a little more, you find out that it’s a nod to Arthurian legends, discovering that the Traveler is the holy grail. This could be a connection with other secrets that you find in this game.

5 The Ahamkaras In Harbingers Seclude Area

A long time ago, a mysterious species of shapeshifters called The Ahamkara roamed the land. They were really powerful monsters, but after a great purge, they disappeared from this universe.

Although these creatures are extinct, you can find whatever is left of the two of them in Harbinger’s Seclude. Once there you’ll find two rooms where you can trade with Hugin and Muninn, Dreaming City secret vendors, and former Ahamkaras.

4 Divalian Mist Cavern

If you go to the Divalian Mists and pass the arch, you’ll find a temple entrance with a set of statues with their hands in random positions. Some players have found this place, and all the things you could explore in this area are still a secret.

Destiny 2’ players have noticed that there is a cave behind these statues. Still, they haven’t found a way to enter this mysterious place. Some gamers think that you need to complete raids and solve a puzzle to access this cave.

3 Tower Of Opened Eyes Secret Well

At first, players thought this was a secret Blind Well, but this has nothing to do with this secret area. So, what is this place about? Well, not even players know. To reach this secret area, you need a platform over instakill water.

Some fans think this is a raid that hasn’t been finished; Still, they don’t get the way to activate the teleporter to reach it.

2 Hallowed Rift

To go to this area, you need to glitch out of the map from the “Hallowed Groove” lost sector. When you are close to this place, you’ll find a black box, jump right into it, and you’ll be teleported back to the Lost Sector.

To prevent this, wait about 30 seconds on the spot in front of the black box, jump again, but this time you’ll use a Stasis Glacier Grenade to block the teleport. Throw the grenade in this place and use a weapon to destroy yourself. Now you’ll respawn on the spot you wait 30 seconds. With the teleport being blocked, you finally can go through. Fans who have arrived at this place think that this could be a secret mission.

1 Loot Cave

After six years of this game release, an old location from Destiny has reappeared in Destiny 2: Beyond light: the original Loot Cave. To find this cave go to The Divide, behind the Steppes spawn point, right after Deck 13. When you are in this area, head to the building on your left; you’ll find the location inside this.

In this place, you can get some pretty fantastic loot drops. For this, you’re going to need an instance where Captains are spawning, not just Dregs and Shanks.
