The first selfie put here is one that is created by Ricelord-_- on reddit. Starting out with a bang, it’s pretty straightforward on what it is about. Spider-Man taking a selfie as a criminal he has strung up is burning alive. What makes this funny is the morbidness of it.
In a sense, it is like imagining your childhood hero as being a corrupt mass murderer. Of course, the superhero himself has never done anything like this. But it is truly a taste of what lengths players can have with the photo mode.

For those that are unfamiliar with the Spider-Man lore, he had once let a robber go through which led to the death of Uncle Ben. A particular interpretation came from the Sam Raimi films where it was a carjacker (at least assumed before Spider-Man 3). A really fun ice-breaker for something that is supposed to be serious.

Speaking of serious, here is a fun one created by Batguy500. Taking place around the time where Miles dad passes away, Peter Parker is currently out of commission due to the explosion. As a result, players get to control Miles Morales. Of course, since Spider-Man is knocked out, it’s part of the fun to capitalize on this with a funny selfie. It’s like Miles is taking the opportunity of becoming the next protagonist.
6 New York Is Burning
This one is pretty funny considering the context of the events in question. Since New York is currently in the middle of a sheer onslaught of problems, it’s fair that the photo by Cosmo_theSpacedoggo would show this fact with a fun selfie. Of course, by doing this, this essentially makes Mary Jane Watson a sociopath. But that is only part of the fun after all.

When one is a superhero like Spider-Man, fans would know that his life sucks. As many people that he cares about tend to die around him, that and the balance within his life is absolutely brutal. So in a fun photo created by the brother of Daredevil731, where it has the web-slinger be right beside a bunch of drugs. By using the settings within the photo mode, it basically makes the superhero look like a drug addict.

Next on the list is the photo taken by kidschwifty. Shown within the illusions created by Mr. Negative, it allows the villain to tell the character what he has been through. That along with his reasoning for being who he is. One moment is a negative recreation of the city hall explosion that killed Miles Morales’s dad. Of course, gamers get to see the bomber that killed him and it makes it funnier for the character to take a picture of the man that killed him.

After the death of his father, Miles Morales decided to start working at the F.E.A.S.T homeless shelter where he was known for helping out. Of course with the photo mode, fans are able to make some really funny photos that deviates from this.
One of them is created by Boomheadshot1037, where it has Mile Morales be an incredibly mean person and taking the photo of someone who is homeless. Doing a cool pose on top of it. The irony only makes it sweeter.

Finally, the last selfie that is taken by players is one that is very simple and almost disrespectful in the best way possible. As many fans know, Uncle Ben was the father figure of Spider-Man that took him to where he is today.
So it’s only fair to ruin that memory by taking a fun selfie on his gravestone as a courtesy from Jeremy Conrad. Of course, with all the photos shown on this list, many of this is just for harmless fun and it does show what lengths photo mode can take the player.
