10 Stan Lee
Being the co-creator of Spider-Man, we wouldn’t have this game, the comic books it’s based on, or most of the Marvel characters fans have fallen in love with if it wasn’t for Stan Lee. As he sadly passed away in 2018, Lee leaves behind a legacy so few other people will ever reach, so it’s only right that there’s a giant bronze statue of the legend in the middle of the map, and players can even pay their respects to him.

8 Gloria’s Appearance
One of the more memorable moments of Marvel’s Spider-Man is Gloria, the homeless person who Spider-Man helped out. Well, as it’s one of the small details in the game that you may have missed when she appears, if you blink you’ll miss it.
If players find her, they have the ability to approach and talk to her. It’s one of the most heartwarming moments of Miles Morales, as she’s doing well and she’s happy, which is a far cry from how she was doing in the first game.

6 Spider-Verse Suit Can Slow Down Frame Rate
Spider-Man’s movement is one of the reasons it’s better than Marvel’s Avengers, and it just got even better. When gamers read things about the frame rate slowing down in video-games, it’s usually a sign that it’s not great or that it at least needs more work, but this is a little different.
When players equip the Spider-Verse suit, they have the option to slow down the frame rate, making it more choppy so that it looks like the actual art style of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.
5 The Developer’s Logo
In one of the most action-packed levels that sees Miles reading on the back of Rhino, they are smashing their way through a shopping mall, leaving a path of destruction in their wake. When jumping from one side of the first floor of the shopping mall to the other, Rhino uses a hanging ornament in the middle to levy himself. However, it wasn’t just any random ornament, but the logo of Insomniac, the developer of the game.
4 The Wild Pack
When swinging through the city, Miles gets a call from Peter Parker, and after having a laugh thanks to their lovable bromance, Peter starts to drop a couple of familiar names. The first name he drops is Silver Sable, who is the leader of the mercenary team The Wild Pack, which is the second name he mentions. They’re yet to appear in the game, but there’s potential for DLC in there somewhere.
3 Mastermind
The Tinkerer and Oscorp were already things that fans spotted in the trailer, but they aren’t the only villains new to the series. Though he never shows his face, the X-Men villain Mastermind leaves behind a few hints that he exists in the universe. In a collectible time capsule, there’s a graphics card with “Mastermind x4” written on it in permanent marker. Many fans believe that it’s a reference to the first X-Men comic featuring Mastermind.

1 Spider-Man First Issue
One of the greatest things about Miles is that he was one of Spider-Man’s biggest fans, as it showed in Marvel’s Spider-Man and it continues to show in Miles Morales with their bromance. But it doesn’t matter how close they become in real life, Miles will still be a true Spider-Man fan at heart, and it shows. In Miles’ bedroom, the very first issue of the Spider-Man comic book can be found on a shelf.
