Majima Everywhere is a feature in the Yakuza games that is literally what it sounds like. Basically, the character Goro Majima drops on the main character Kazuma Kiryu for a fight any chance he can get. The purpose is to get Kiryu in shape again after he has lost most of his dragon abilities after being in prison for ten years.

This one posted by u/TheONLYSpencerito. Majima will hide just about anywhere he needs to. He’s not above trash cans, sewers, dressing in drag, police uniforms, or giant traffic cones. Anything to surprise Kiryu works. That’s what makes it fun for him after all, the element of surprise.

This one posted by u/Angyem. Kiryu is a very disciplined man while Majima is more of a wild card. They respect one another’s powers way too much to be considered frenemies yet have this polarizing kind of dynamic that’s in some way an unrequited love.
Majima thinks Kiryu is absolutely fascinating and wants to fight him to the point of obsession aka where he pops out at every opportunity. Kiryu, having such a comparably mellow personality, wants absolutely nothing to do with the loud man whose fixation he doesn’t get or care about.

This one posted by a since-deleted Redditor. Majima is so fixated on battling Kiryu that he’s willing to wait for him no matter how long it takes. While he might seem impulsive and all over the place, he actually is a guy who will stick to his guns for what he wants, as previously shown when he had his eye gouged out after refusing to bow down to an opponent.

This one posted by Redditor u/Diggin64. One of the most memorable scenes in Yakuza is disguised Majima jumping Kiryu in a host club where he’s wearing fishnets, a wig, and a pink dress. He was so into it that he even painted his nails for the occasion.

Despite the career he’s chosen, he’s a guy with morals who doesn’t believe in hurting kids, pets, civilians, or people he has no beef with. This hilarious meme represents the stark differences in approach between the two men.

This one posted by a tumblr user. This is a meme that perfectly portrays what is often Kiryu being dense as a coconut. He gets jumped so many times by Majima, yet never seems to catch on he’s nearby or that it’s him unless he’s literally right in his face. He didn’t even recognize Majima in disguise as a female hostess, because you know, they all have handlebar beards and eyepatches.
3 The Icon Meme
This one posted by Pinterest user JB. Kiryu and Majima have always had a fascinating relationship. At the end of Zero, they finally meet face to face in an iconic scene where Majima shouts his famous line.
After watching that unfold, it’s very difficult to not picture him shouting “Kiryu-chan!” Majima is just such an expressive guy, from the smug curl of his lips to the shiny gleam of excitement in his eye. Even the dramatic curve in his eyebrows can’t help but a paint picture where Yakuza fans hear him yell his famous line.
2 The Among Us Meme
This one created by artist Ejahwarrior. Among Us is the perfect game to mix with Yakuza memes because both of them involve mysteries and getting jumped by the killer. Not to mention the opaque spacesuits are the perfect disguise for Majima. Interestingly, Majima actually doesn’t want to kill Kiryu, he just wants to challenge someone he sees being at his own tier. Keep in mind there aren’t a lot of people on that list for him. At this point, we wouldn’t be surprised if there was a scene where he surprised Kiryu and Haruka at Disneyland by jumping out of a Duffy the Bear costume.
1 The Honky Meme
This one by artist KateDrawsComics. Majima is a lot like the goose from Untitled Goose Game — he’s loud, he’s sneaky, he hides under traffic cones and is out to terrorize Kiryu just for kicks. The goose finds a lot of ways to surprise people, in one instance getting into a guarded area by hiding inside a box. While it looks like Majima tries really hard to blend in, he really doesn’t all that much because he seems to know that Kiryu would not notice something if it flew right over his head. Plus he’s not really trying to hide, he’s just trying to do what he can to give him the coolest and most unexpected kind of surprise he can. Majima’s thing is all about getting a rise out of people, the more he can agitate someone, the higher his levels of serotonin go.
