Fans of My Hero Academia tend to get All-For-One and One-For-All mixed up, unless they’re plus ultra fans. The former is the name given to the most powerful villain the fictional world has to offer while the latter is the name given to the generational power the world’s #1 superhero All-Might possesses.

All-For-One can absorb other superpowers known as quirks and either use them himself or give them to other people. A man with that much vitriol and vileness running through his blood would make an evil Pokemon trainer, but who would he want on said team?

10 Mimikyu

Now, Mimikyu isn’t as intimidating of a presence or as powerful as One-For-All would likely prefer. Outside of that, it does happen to carry the same amount of creepiness and off-putting vibes that One-For-All does whenever he’s on-screen. Mimikyu disguises itself from the world to protect itself, whereas One-For-All hid from the world until he thought it was time to take his chance. He could see a bit of himself in the Ghost and Fairy-type Pokemon and welcome the idea of turning it into the very same monster he became.

9 Dragapult

Villains and Dragon-type Pokemon go together like peanut butter and chocolate. The tough part was figuring out with Dragon-type Pokemon most closely fit alongside One-For-All. The Galar region recently introduced Dragapult, a clever Dragon and Ghost-type that moves at incredible speeds. It’s not afraid to use other weaker Pokemon in battle as its projectiles, something One-For-All has done without a second thought in regards to the safety and/or health of the people who put their lives in his hands.

8 Zoroark

It’s hard to consider One-For-All as a trickster, but the villainous mastermind does have a knack for working in the shadows and surprising everyone around him. Zoroark is a Dark-type Pokemon inspired by ancient fox-related fables having to do with illusions and tricks.

One-For-All would likely welcome the ability to his crew as he could use it as another layer in his devious strategies. The last thing All-Might and company want to worry about is whether or not the things they’re seeing are real or simply fabricated illusions.

7 Haunter

If there’s one thing that All-For-One and Haunter have in common it’s that they both love the feeling of inducing fear in others. They each find a strange sense of accomplishment and power from making people feel terrible. The Poison and Ghost-type Pokemon may not be as powerful as its final form, but its love of pranks and trickery makes it dangerous in its own right. Ash Ketchum learned first hand in the anime when a Haunter transported an unconscious Ash into the spirit realm of ghosts and ghouls.

6 Gyarados

Intimidation is a word that’s synonymous with the strongest heroes and villains within My Hero Academia. All-Might uses it to stop criminals in their tracks, whereas someone like One-For-All welcomes the ability to strike fear in those looking to challenge him. Gyarados is a Flying and Water-type Pokemon that embodies intimidation in both aesthetic as well as ability. This giant sea creature is the Pokemon world’s idea of a true leviathan, and it standing next to One-For-All would likely deter a few heroes from fighting.

5 Gengar

Gengar is a Poison and Ghost-type Pokemon, so off the bat, it’s clear that it most likely would be trained by villains and criminals. The Shadow Pokemon as it is known can learn a combination of moves that starts with the move Hypnosis that puts things to sleep. Smart trainers pair this with the move Dream Eater that drains sleeping entities of their health and power. One-For-All owning a Gengar would mean he could effortless drain people of their powers while they’re fast asleep providing no resistance.

4 Mewtwo

In addition to being super powerful and having a cool design, Mewtwo also happens to have one of the better character arcs in Pokemon. It’s introduced as a new life form trying to come to terms with its very own existence, but after dealing chaos to the world around it, it understands its place in the world.

All-For-One wouldn’t care about the latter half of its journey as he’d be so preoccupied with trying to figure out how to harness the power of the legendary Psychic-type Pokemon that was a result of experimentation on the DNA of a mystical beast known as Mew.

3 Malamar

On the surface, Malamar might present itself as a harmless Dark and Psychic-type Pokemon, but it is a lot more vile than it appears. The Overturning Pokemon has a sinister side to it and has been this way ever since it was introduced in the 6th generation of games. According to the Pokedex Malamar has powerful hypnotic powers that allow it to force its victims into doing whatever it wants. It should be clear by this point why All-For-One would want to capture this squid creature and train it to do his bidding.

2 Ditto

Ditto may be a failed science experiment, but the Normal-type Pokemon is capable of some incredible things on the DNA level. It can change into any other Pokemon in existence and copy their known moveset. Now, it can’t give this power to others and it doesn’t make the target a husk of its former self. That being said, someone as nefarious as All-For-One would find a way to use Ditto in such a way that it fuels his need to remove the sense of hope and honor from the world permanently.

1 Marshadow

A Pokemon known as the Gloomdweller seems like the type of creature One-For-All would desire to own. Marshadow is the Pokemon in question and this Fighting and Ghost-type made its debut in the 7th generation of games, Pokemon Sun & Moon. It mimics others powers and abilities in the shadows and never presents itself to humans. Does this behavior sound familiar? Marshadow is the closest thing outside of Ditto to what the Pokemon embodiment of the villain known as One-For-All would be like.
