Stardew Valley has been around for a while now but fans are still coming up with hilarious new memes. Pelican Town is full of life, mysteries, and charming people to get to know. Everyone has their own quirks and a unique personality… even George. Stardew Valley’s community is very passionate about the game and still very active. Although the game came out in early 2016, Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, still works incredibly hard to release free updates so that the fans can keep enjoying the game.

Much like any other active video game community, memes are a big part of it. So, here are awesome Stardew Valley memes.

10 Crisis

Many Stardew Valley fans resort to its Wiki page to find helpful tips and hints throughout their playthroughs of the game. The Wiki page is a very useful tool. With its help, players can give to their favorite NPCs gifts without having to worry if they’ll hate it completely. But this is just one of its many uses.

However, sometimes Stardew Valley’s Wiki page is down and that might cause players to panic a little because they’re deprived of their main source of information. This might make it feel like it’s nearly the end of the world. What if players end up gifting the wrong person the wrong thing!

9 Fortune Teller

Sometimes things don’t go according to plan and mining in Stardew Valley is often one of those things.

Luck is a stat that is randomly generated every day in Stardew Valley. Players can find out their Luck each day by watching the Fortune Teller on the TV. A player’s Luck will determine how likely or unlikely it is for a certain thing to happen, for example, finding the stairs to the next level in the mines and finding precious materials, among other things. It is therefore important to take one’s Luck into consideration before adventuring out into the mines.

8 Old News

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was one of the most hyped games in 2020, especially when it comes to simulation games. It has had its share of updates, including the Winter update that was released not long ago.

However, Stardew Valley’s most recent update includes a crazy amount of new content. This isn’t the first time that ConcernedApe has added such a meaty update to the game for free. So, fans have found themselves going back to it once again and leaving Animal Crossing behind for the time being.

7 Stardew Valley, Though

2020 was actually a great year for games. Many anticipated titles came out throughout its months. Stardew Valley, on the other hand, came out nearly 5 years ago. It was first released in February of 2016.

But, Stardew Valley turned out to be a classic, and, no matter how much it ages, fans still seem to easily return to it. It is easy to leave recent games unplayed while sinking a few more dozens of hours into Stardew Valley. With so many new games, it’s kind of awesome to think that Stardew Valley never gets old.

6 Heart Event Oopsie

Fans love to jokingly call Stardew Valley a dating simulator. Why? Because not only can gamers date nearly anyone they want, they can date every dateable NPC at the same time. This is all part of Pelican Town’s charm…

And, once players start gaining hearts as they become closer to a certain NPC, this will trigger certain cutscenes, called Heart Events. These cutscenes can be quite personal and might make players who are already taken feel a bit nervous as if they were acting behind their spouses back.

5 Where In The World Could Marnie Be

Having to feed chickens in the middle of winter can be tough when a player doesn’t own a silo or doesn’t store up enough hay for the colder season. Hay can be purchased from Marnie’s Ranch though, so, even though it’s a little pricey, it’s nice to have that option as a last resort.

Unfortunately, Marnie seems to be nowhere to be found when players need her the most. Although they try to keep it hush-hush, her relationship with Mayor Lewis is no secret so she most likely spends her time with him instead of focusing on running her Ranch.

4 The Wizard’s Daughter

Fans have, for a while now, been theorizing about Abigail’s (supposed) father, Pierre. The poor guy even tells the player to keep it a secret from his wife, Caroline, but he suspects that he might not be Abigail’s father.

This might seem pretty dark for a farming sim but it does make sense. It is known that Caroline used secretly go to the Wizard’s Tower. Plus, the Wizard himself mentions that he believes one of the townsfolk to be his daughter. This all adds up and fans decided to create some memes out of the whole situation.

3 Binge Playing

Certainly, every Stardew Valley fan has gotten sucked into the farming lifestyle and lived it for hours on end. Sometimes in-game the days and the seasons just fly by in an instant.

It’s not hard to tell one’s self “just one more day” and keep playing for a few more hours. This is particularly funny when the NPCs give players a reality check and suddenly it’s 3 am and a whole season has gone by.

2 51 Years Later

Cows in Stardew Valley allow the player to obtain milk. If the player isn’t facing a cow properly and tries to milk anyway, an animation will still play of the player failing to milk the cow.

This can be somewhat aggravating once the player is forced to watch the animation a couple of times over and it feels like the animation goes on forever. Surely every player has related to Interstellar’s Cooper maneuvering near a black hole while rewatching the animation for the 20th time.

1 Patience Is A Virtue

The Community Center is a major completion objective in Stardew Valley’s story. The player must fully restore it by providing specific items.

However, each room has a few items and it can be hard to keep track of what you need to get and when you need to get it. This can lead to some frustration building up when players realize that they’ve collected all of the items except one and it’s not in the current season. Then they must wait and be patient before obtaining it at last.
