Around this time last summer, self-titled “Gamer Girl” Belle Delphine made headlines when she started selling her used bathwater online. The stunt proved to be extremely lucrative for the controversial social media personality, with the bathwater selling out and generating mainstream attention. Despite her spike in popularity, Belle Delphine seemingly disappeared from the Internet a few months after the bathwater stunt, but now she has returned with a new music video.

Delphine’s music video for her song “I’M BACK” is a clear parody of 6ix9ine’s “I’m Back!” song, lifting some of the lyrics from that while adding references to her bathwater stunt and more. The Belle Delphine music video is too inappropriate to post here, but it’s proving to be quite popular so far, generating nearly 3 million views and over 200,000 likes at the time of this writing. The video concludes with links to Belle Delphine’s new TikTok and Instagram accounts.

Belle Delphine’s new TikTok content is about what one would expect from the controversial personality. The videos filmed in what appears to be her bedroom feature an appearance from Pokemon’s Piplup in the background, but generally the content doesn’t seem to be explicitly gaming-related.

Delphine has yet to explain exactly why she disappeared from the Internet for such a long time, especially when she was at the height of her popularity. However, it’s possible that it has something to do with the potential legal troubles that she may have gotten into for selling her used bathwater online.

Delphine was also reportedly arrested back in October 2019, due to an incident at a party. According to Delphine, she saw someone steal her pet hamster, and so she vandalized their car with spray paint. Delphine posted her mugshot online and claimed that she was arrested for vandalism, though the validity of this incident has yet to be proven. It seems more likely that Delphine being “arrested” is just another publicity stunt or hoax on the part of the social media star.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see what other over-the-top stunts Delphine pulls to continue growing her brand. She has consistently incorporated video games into her social media image and YouTube videos, and one has to imagine that the “Gamer Girl” persona isn’t going away anytime soon.
