The wait for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is unfortunately a long one. Three more months until players can assume control of perhaps the most elite military squad in all of fictional military branches (Team Rainbow is more of a counter terrorism group, not a military branch). To make the wait a little less hurtful, Ubisoft is releasing all kinds of promotional videos to showcase gameplay and explain more of the Ghost squad’s backstory.

Ubisoft’s certainly sparing no expense when it comes to promoting Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The first singleplayer gameplay trailer that launched earlier in the month illustrates the way Ghosts approach war, through both subterfuge and force majeure. For a more personal touch, read our game preview for even more details that might not have been evident yet.

Perhaps one of the more interesting things about Future Soldier is how the game is promoting “cheating” in war. As we all know, there’s no such thing as a “fair fight” when it comes to conventional warfare. And who better to hear about the art of war than former Navy SEAL, Richard “Mack” Machowicz? In the video below, Mack starts a three-part series describing different real-life scenarios where America’s finest succeeded in some high profile missions.

There’s a twist though, how would similar missions have gone if performed by Ghosts?
