Since the launch of Destiny in early September, Bungie’s latest game has been on almost every gamers’ mind. It’s become a major focal point for those who want to voice their dislike for the game and those who want to share in their enthusiasm. Needless to say, there’s a lot to talk about with this game. However, rather than highlight the various complaints gamers have with the game - and there are a lot - oday’s post focuses on something a little different....

The season finale of the hit Marvel Studios series WandaVision is dropping on Disney Plus this Friday. Matt Shakman, who directed all nine episodes of the series, recently confirmed that the show will lead right into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In WandaVison episode 8, Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) revealed that Wanda’s (Elizabeth Olsen) “Chaos Magic” allows her to change the reality around her. The loaded penultimate episode also showed Wanda watching her parents die after being struck by a Stark Industries missile....

Despite launching on a single platform, the PS4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son managed to sell over $1 million copies in a single month - ensuring that future inFamous sequels will remain a priority for Sony. After all, while Titanfall managed to top March NPD sales, the game was on the market longer and released across multiple platforms (later adding the Xbox 360 in April), meaning that even though Second Son came in at number two, Sucker Punch Productions managed to push a lot of units (especially considering 7 million PS4 consoles have been sold)....

Joe Danger originally released on the PS3 over a year ago as a downloadable PSN title and it has finally made its way over to the Xbox 360 in the form of Joe Danger: Special Edition. With over a year and a half of time between the game’s releases, what kind of changes can gamers who played the initial title expect? The latest update to the massively popular open world survival/creation game, Minecraft, was released earlier today. It’s been a long time coming, and lead developer Jens Bergensten has revealed extensive details on the 1.8 update — also known as “Bountiful” — for the PC version of the game earlier today on the Mojang website. The update adds many new features to the game, not the least of which is a Spectator Mode allowing players to fly through other worlds without interacting with them....

With the upgraded hardware in the Xbox One and PS4, it seems many developers are looking for ways to bring their successful PC games to the current-gen consoles. One of those games is Neverwinter, an MMORPG that has found strong success and support on PC over the last couple years. Neverwinter launched last week on Xbox One, and despite a few small issues, it’s a quality game for Xbox One owners....

About a year ago, there was a rumor circulating the web that suggested developer Crystal Dynamics was looking to reboot their popular Soul Reaver franchise for the next-gen. However, after news of the reboot came and went, and nothing was made of the rumor, thoughts of Kain and Raziel once again retreated to the back of gamers’ minds. Today, however, Square Enix and developer Psyonix have unveiled a spin-off series for Soul Reaver and Legacy of Kain called Nosgoth, which is set in the same universe as CD’s previous games, but features a different type of gameplay....

While the animated series may have begun its life on Comedy Central as an awkward, odd look at American youth, South Park has spent the last 17 years tackling some of the most controversial and divisive wars, political issues, and moral dilemmas of our time (not to mention giving their take on the ongoing console war). In fact, it’s hard to think of a single explosive subject that series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone haven’t explored with surprising wit, and weathered the ensuing storm just fine....

Final Fantasy’s unconventional fashion is part of what makes the games so memorable. Few video game franchises have played such an important role in the inception and development of a genre as Resident Evil. Its perplexing puzzles, eerie environments, and spine-chilling scenes remain unrivaled in the world of gaming even today. That’s not to say though that there aren’t other ways to experience the same measure of macabre. In Assassin’s Creed Origins, fans of the franchise got to explore Egyptian mythology through the eyes of Bayek, as he faced the likes of Anubis, Sobek, Sekhmet, Apep, and the undead via the Curse of the Pharaohs DLC. Now, Assassin’s Creed fans will get the chance to dig deep into Greek mythology, as they explore it through the eyes of either Alexios or Kassandra in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Set to release in a few months’ time, this latest entry may likely feature the same in-depth approach to mythology as its predecessor, as footage has already shown Medusa and the Minotaur from Greek mythology....

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II raises the bar for drama in gaming. The writing brings a depth to the medium rarely seen, and the words are brought to such exquisite life by the talented performers. Video game acting has gotten more detailed in recent years due to the improvements in technology and the greater care given to it during production. For anyone who loves the actors in Naughty Dog’s most recent opus, they should check out their other popular roles....

PC fans received quite the shock when Sony announced a port of the amazing Horizon Zero Dawn. For the first time, a PlayStation exclusive was set to touch down on an unrelated platform, and it didn’t take long before gamers started imagining the possibilities for the future. Sony has promised that more titles are coming to the PC, and this spells good news for gamers who simply haven’t taken the PlayStation plunge....
