The superhero genre has become one of the most famous, most enjoyable, and most profitable forms of entertainment in the past decade. Billions have been spent to create superhero films and games and billions have been earned in return. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the latest one to come into the fold, and like many before it, it has been received with critical acclaim. 2020 is definitely a year people will not be forgetting anytime soon. While it was filled with a lot of negativity and struggle, one of the positives that came from 2020 was the amazing game releases. From highly anticipated sequels like The Last of Us Part 2 to surprisingly popular indies like Among Us there was no shortage of video game content to keep us occupied. However, one game doesn’t seem to get a lot of attention for how great it is, and that is 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim....

Dragon Ball GT is one of the worst sequels of a successful franchise, but it had some pretty interesting aspects. As the successor of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, this 64 episode series had a lot of pressure on its shoulders; it was also the only installment of Dragon Ball that didn’t have the back up of the manga. Sadly, it really shows. For the most part, it rehashes tired ideas and it just kind of stinks....

How big of a deal is Batman: Arkham Knight going to be? So big that even its trailer is getting its own trailers. A few days ago, Batman: Arkham Knight director Stefon Hill announced that the game’s upcoming trailer - much like the game itself - will suffer from a slight delay, as the Rocksteady team “thought of a much more exciting way” to reveal a “very cool new feature” to patiently waiting fans....

With Battlefield 3 flourishing as Electronic Arts’ and developer DICE’s most successful installment of the series to date, the hotly-selling Battlefield Premium service looking to propel its life cycle far into 2013, was there ever really any question, when Battlefield 4 was announced last month and appeared, as it still does, fast-tracking for an October 2013 release, that EA would tamper with the lucrative contemporary formula and head, say, back to the future or the 20th Century?...

Let’s face it, Disney Interactive could have easily slapped a Marvel logo on Disney Infinity and solid several million copies. However, that wouldn’t have been very fulfilling for fans of the original game. Thankfully, DI is not doing that for Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition), but rather the developer is revamping every facet of the game from top to bottom. Oh, and there adding a roster of Marvel comics icons for good measure....

The Horde Command Pack, the first DLC content to release for Gears of War 3 was flat out, not worth the money. It’s content that should have been included in the game. In fact, it was made up of content included in the game but was intentionally locked to charge players for it aftewards for use in one mode, while the maps it offered were given out to everyone for free in the other mode....

Ubisoft’s free-to-play PC title Ghost Recon: Online may not be the publisher’s anticipated, and oft-delayed Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, but with the latest developer diary - entitled “Redefining Team Play” - the team over at Ubisoft assures gamers that this is still a Ghost Recon game through and through. For the uninitiated, Ghost Recon: Online is Ubisoft’s foray into the free-to-play realm and is, as with most freemuim games, a PC-exclusive....

When Halo 4 was first officially revealed at E3 2011, the epic announcement trailer teased an entirely new storyline for Master Chief - allowing the team at 343 Industries to drastically change-up existing plot and gameplay elements. The developer has been very careful about honoring Bungie’s creation, as well as the larger canon mythology, but (as with any long-running series) 343 also needed freedom to move the franchise in a fresh direction....

Fans hoping to see Master Chief on the big screen may be one step closer - as Microsoft has announced that acclaimed producer/director David Fincher (Fight Club, The Social Network) as well as visual effects guru Tim Miller (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) are attached to the Halo 4 launch trailer. Fincher executive produced the trailer, with Miller serving as director - joining other rising Hollywood talents, Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) who helmed the Halo: ODST trailer, “We Are ODST” and Noam Murro (the upcoming 300: Rise of an Empire) who led the Halo: Reach trailer “Birth of a Spartan....

At long last, the much-anticipated release of Halo 4 is upon us, and gamers are understandably amped, though some remain cautiously optimistic, about the prospect of Master Chief’s return. Anyone who has been concerned by 343 Industries’ handling of the next Halo title did so in vain, however, because the developer has managed to deliver one of the biggest, action-packed offerings ever created on a console. That’s not to say the fourth numeric installment is flawless, but the sheer amount of content will keep gamers entertained for countless months to come....

As we slowly move closer and closer to the launch of Halo 5: Guardians this Fall, Microsoft and 343 Industries continue to promote the upcoming sequel through their Hunt the Truth campaign. Throughout the length of the online promotion, bits and pieces of Halo 5 information, including back story on Master Chief, have been released. One of the more intriguing parts of the Hunt the Truth campaign was a large puzzle compiled of many smaller images sent out to various people....
