Ubisoft is following in the silent footsteps of their Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell franchises with Watch Dogs, their highly anticipated mulitplatform new IP releasing this holiday season. Watch Dogs is built within an open world environment that gives players the option to play the game however they choose - but much like the aforementioned Ubisoft titles - it encourages the use of stealth tactics and gameplay. Watch Dogs will take a variety of ideas such as stealing cars, terminating enemies, and hacking equipment, and put its own innovative twist on them....

Zombies have infested the streets of Tokyo, and the only people who have a chance of surviving are the Yakuza. But how will they defeat this menace? That’s what the latest Yakuza: Dead Souls trailer is here to answer, as Sega details all the different ways players can kill a zombie. Yakuza: Dead Souls is the first title in the series to emphasize gunplay, and its characters will have access to a wide array of weapons, including shotguns and sniper rifles....

Destiny 2 is scheduled to be offline for a good portion of the day on June 27 for maintenance. The extended maintenance period on June 27, 2019 is scheduled to last for up to 12 hours, starting at 7 a.m. PDT. The reason for the maintenance is to prepare for the new Cross-Save functionality being added to Destiny 2 this fall. This maintenance will also be taking Destiny 1 offline as well even though Cross-Save will not affect the original game....

When a AAA game releases and goes on to become one of the biggest titles of the year, you’d expect the developer and publisher to come out and show off for a bit; nothing flashy, but something to really prove it. Yet, when Activision revealed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the biggest entertainment launch of 2014 last week, there was a distinct lack of sales numbers or a long list of player accomplishments aside from ‘x amount of online matches played’ and ‘y number of times people leveled online....

Well, this should dispel the notion that a developer’s work ends when the game ships once and for all. Just over a week after Diablo 3 released, Blizzard has confirmed that the game’s first patch will be coming soon to address several technical and gameplay issues that have been plaguing the game since launch. A series of Twitter posts grouped under “#EAGATE” seemingly reveal that at least one EA employee has been selling FIFA Ultimate Team cards to fans for thousands of Euros. For context, FIFA Ultimate Team cards are used in the franchise’s Ultimate Team mode. Described by EA as the “most popular mode in FIFA,” Ultimate Team is basically a combination of a CCG deck builder and a GM mode. Essentially, it sees you try to build the best team possible over the course of multiple in-game years largely through opening card packs that contain everything from upgrades to new players....
