Nolan North and Troy Baker, the twin kings of video game voice acting, seem to crop up in just about every AAA release. With that in mind, it makes sense that on occasion the two of them have shown up in the same game, as was the case in Game Rant’s 2014 Game of the Year Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Naughty Dog’s 2013 hit The Last of Us. This year Naughty Dog is re-teaming North and Baker in upcoming sequel Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, in which North will reprise his role as charming treasure hunter Nathan Drake and Baker will appear for the first time as Nate’s older brother, Sam....

Horror game fans have been awaiting Until Dawn for years now. Today, Netflix debuted the first official images from director Zack Snyder’s upcoming zombie heist film Army of the Dead. However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted what could be a cameo by the ‘Snyder Cut’ of Justice League in one of the newly released photos. During the post-production phase of Warner Bros. and DC’s Justice League, Snyder stepped away from the project due to a personal family tragedy, and Avengers director Joss Whedon was brought on board to carry the project through to its November 2017 release....

The developers at Ubisoft haven’t been afraid to delve into history to bring added drama to the Assassin’s Creed series, and with Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, they’re keeping the tradition alive. Most notably, in their plans to make the most of the expected DLC Season Pass. But rather than simple weapons or costumes, owners of the Season Pass will be able to play through “Freedom Cry,” a standalone Black Flag campaign starring Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale, as the escaped slave is forced to confront his past, and bring punishment to those who most deserve it....

It’s been known for some time now that the PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty 4 is suffering from a wave of hackers, but never has it been this bad. Apparently, a new hack is forcing the game to freeze at start up, essentially rendering PS3 copies of Call of Duty 4 useless. According to those suffering from the supposed hack, when Call of Duty 4 starts up the game’s logo appears with text saying “yes” and “no,” essentially forcing players to press the ‘X’ button to confirm....

Electronic Arts never hid the fact they planned to grow the Crysis franchise after its sequel hit last year and so when Crysis 3 popped up on Origin’s pre-order page two weeks ago, it wasn’t at all surprising. EA and developer Crytek quickly confirmed the game, describing its plot, sharing screenshots and teasing and upcoming gameplay trailer. Today the first full Crysis 3 gameplay trailer is out, and as always, Crytek continues to demonstrate their masterful handling of graphics and visuals....

The reviews of the game may have highlighted as many problems as strengths, but Destiny has won the day based on sheer volume of sales, and the already impressive size of its community. After becoming the most pre-ordered new IP in history, the game went on to make up its $500 million budget in the first day on sale (and has since made $325 million from those copies sold to retailers)....

Drawing inspiration from properties like Skylanders, LittleBigPlanet and Minecraft, Disney Interactive’s toy-and-game world-building adventure Disney Infinity has all the potential of a prosperous franchise when it releases this June. The publisher is convinced that the sprawling title is their “most ambitious gaming initiative ever,” and Disney/Pixar Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter (director, among other films, of Toy Story and Cars) boldly called it “one of the most creative things in the interactive world that I’ve ever seen....
