When Ubisoft first announced Far Cry 4’s Season Pass, and its bevy of content, most gamers were intrigued by the prospect of taking on Yetis in the new open world title. But, there was some confusion with multiplayer. Because Far Cry 4’s Season Pass included a multiplayer mode called Overrun, a few gamers were apparently confused as to whether that was the game’s only PvP element. They knew co-op would ship with the retail package, but competitive multiplayer was not explicitly stated....
Back in the PS1-era, Crash Bandicoot received three excellent games; Spyro got a similar trilogy of games. The Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid franchise has always been about obfuscation. From the way Director Hideo Kojima likes to hide his true intentions with a game (see: The Phantom Pain reveal) or the dense narrative that permeates the entire series, there has never been a clear line of communication between developer and consumer. So, when Kojima announced that Metal Gear Solid 5 would be split across two titles, The Phantom Pain and its prequel Ground Zeroes, many expected Kojima Productions and Konami were doubling down on the franchise — giving fans the Kill Bill treatment, if you will....

Up until this point, the team at DICE has been doing everything in its power to keep the Star Wars Battlefront hype train moving forward. The team teased fans with tweets before the game’s trailer debut, hinting that the current-gen and PC graphics would break the internet. Now that the rendered in-engine cinematic trailer has arrived and more details are slowly leaking out, the developers are ready to start curbing the hyperbole and offer some more concrete information....
The wait for The Last of Us is almost over - although why anyone would want to dive headfirst into the monster-filled post-apocalyptic setting is beyond us. With the release in site, developer Naughty Dog has announced the content coming to all who purchase their DLC Season Pass, and what perks will be offered to those who do so on day one. Adding to both the singleplayer and multiplayer components of the game, the team isn’t revealing anything about the latter just yet, but does promise more multiplayer details on the coming days....
Lee Everett’s story is slated to continue this week. Telltale Games finally dropped the release dates for The Walking Dead: Episode Two, entitled Starved for Help, and they’re much sooner than anyone expected. Gamers playing on Xbox Live can continue Lee Everett’s story tomorrow, while PC and PS3 owners will be able to play their respective editions this Friday. The first episode, which focused on building relationships with other survivors and making quick, life-changing decisions, proved to be a well-written and entertaining title, and a massive hit with fans of the franchise....
There may not have been an ounce of gameplay contained within in, but the first teaser trailer confirming that the Uncharted series would be coming to PlayStation 4 was undoubtedly one of the high points of Sony’s console launch event. Featuring the standard cryptic narration and a hand-painted treasure map, fans weren’t left with much information to decipher. Or…were they? A closer look at the first trailer for what we assume will be Uncharted 4 reveals some key names and locations that, when taken together, imply the next game in the series will feature a search for pirate treasure off the coast of Africa....
