During an investor’s call today, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot unfortunately announced the delay of one of the company’s most anticipated games. Part of the Tom Clancy line of titles, The Division has continued to impress players since its reveal at E3 2013, but those hoping to finally get their hands on the game will have to wait a bit longer, as The Division has been delayed out of 2015 and into 2016....

We knew it was coming, but it still hit like an atom bomb. The debut trailer for Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5 tore through the Internet yesterday, sending the assembled masses into paroxysms of speculation and delight. Still, stunning as the trailer is, the game’s release date remains anyone’s guess (although we have a theory). Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been receiving gameplay balance updates since release and Hero from the Dragon Quest series has already been tweaked since his debut trailer. The base version of Hero is the Luminary from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, with three alternate costumes based on Erdrick from Dragon Quest III: Seeds of Salvation, Solo from Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen, and Eight from Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King....

Before all these new-fangled computer games were invented, kids had to get their fix of exposure to violent imagery by using their own precious imaginations and by flinging rocks at each other’s heads. In these sophisticated times, however, the world of make-believe has collided with the world of fantasy RPGs to create Obsidian Entertainment’s 2.5D epic South Park: The Stick of Truth. Of course, since the game will most likely end up being rated M by the ESRB, young kids will have to carry on throwing rocks at each other for now....

After months of denials, backpedaling, and potential leaked confirmations; Naughty Dog has finally provided survival horror fans with some concrete information about the long-rumored PS4 port of The Last of Us. The award-winning 2013 game and its DLC packs will make their way to the PS4 this summer with both a physical and digital release. Despite earlier statements from Naughty Dog that clearly explained the company had no plans to release a PS4 port for the game, it seems like Naughty Dog has been hard at work on the Remastered edition since the PS3 version launched....

One of the most talked-about titles of 2013, interest in The Last of Us has remained high - months after release. Last week (at the time of this writing), fans were treated to the short but sweet DLC, “Left Behind” - a prequel story that followed Ellie and her best friend Riley long before the core Last of Us campaign narrative. The DCEU has been in a state of flux ever since 30 minutes of footage were cut out of Batman V Superman’s theatrical release. The consequence was a domino effect that resulted in Zack Snyder’s vision gradually being drained out of the franchise. The final straw was Joss Whedon’s Justice League, which greatly reshot Snyder’s original vision and effectively cut the branches off the DCEU. Zack Snyder’s Justice League marks an important precedent for filmmaking, but it also heralds a potential return to the Snyderverse for the DCEU....

Glitches and bugs can be fun when they do funny things or are exploitable. However, there exists a certain type of malfunction within a game’s code that can absolutely destroy one’s experience with it. This is referring to those glitches which, through one method or another, destroy or corrupt a save file. Throughout the many Legend of Zelda releases to date, there have been hundreds of dungeons to crawl through. And, within them, there’s always a boss to fight.
