Usually bent on world domination, kidnapping, or just plain chaos, those game developers looking to craft a truly compelling villain have a tall task on their hands. But with Far Cry 4, the team at Ubisoft Montreal is looking to cement one of a kind villains as their specialty....

While Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is having a hard time keeping the various storylines in his franchise straight, publisher Konami is having no trouble doing so. Very little has been shown of Metro: Last Light following its delay into 2013, but now gamers will get another glimpse into the Moscow Metro. The full Enter The Metro short film has been unveiled, and it tells the origin story of Metro: Last Light star Artyom. The trailer begins with a man listening to a radio, when he receives a distressing message. He then runs out of the building, past a lady with a baby....

Jet Set Radio launches on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this week (PlayStation Plus subscribers have had access since September 10th), and even more HD re-releases of classic Sega console games are on the way. Announced in July (but not dated), both Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS Into Dreams will be made available for download less than one month from today. After delivering one solid Spider-Man outing with Shattered Dimensions, but then faltering quite a bit with their execution on Edge of Time, it was hard to evaluate what The Amazing Spider-Man might turn out to be. The Uncharted series has become a staple for PlayStation gamers.
