Also known as Ryu ga Gotoku, Yakuza is a famous series of videogames created by SEGA and Toshihiro Nagoshi. The journey of the main character, Kazuma Kiryu, started back in 2005 and lasted six games. We all know the premise of Batman: Arkham Origins by now, following the caped crusader on one of the most trying nights of his early career. The setting: Gotham City, Christmas Eve. The opponents: eight of the world’s deadliest assassins hired by Black Mask. Given the characters seen previously in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, the odds of seeing the likes of Deathstroke (already confirmed via artwork) or Deadshot as one of the assassins are high....

For almost half a decade now, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has remained a mystery. Initially unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Game Show, developer Vanillaware envisioned this title as a departure from its past works. Known almost exclusively for action games, 13 Sentinels almost calls back to the studio’s past in that it is primarily a real-time strategy game. You won’t be button-mashing to victory here, but making methodical movements on a game board like a sci-fi version of Risk....

In 1991, Nintendo controlled an astonishing 85 percent of the American video game market. With the then-recent release of the SNES and classic titles like Super Mario World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Nintendo looked to dominate the gaming landscape for years to come. However, Sega (then a struggling arcade game manufacturer) had other plans. The Sega Genesis couldn’t quite match the power of the SNES, and it certainly didn’t have the name recognition as Nintendo’s new console....

Many consider the Nintendo 64’s Goldeneye to be one of the best games ever made, as well as a game that radically paved the way for first-person shooters on consoles. Activision knows that there’s a nostalgic soft spot in the hearts of gamers for the classic game, so they created GoldenEye 007, a revamped version of the original for the Wii, and eventually ported it to Xbox 360 and PS3. Originally, the reveal for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was supposed to be part a timed marketing push scheduled for Sunday May 4th. But, as is typically the case with these things, those plans didn’t work out. Instead, Activision was forced to play their hand and reveal the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer a few days early, and in the process they confirmed a few rumors surrounding the project. The trailer specifically outs Kevin Spacey’s involvement with the game, and also reveals the near-future setting we had been hearing about for months....

After a few teaser images posted during E3 2013, Swedish developer Dennaton Games has officially released the first trailer for its sequel, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number....
