Like any Resident Evil game worth its salt, Village is teeming with secrets and hidden areas waiting to reward inquisitive players. While some are fairly obvious, others will require some patience and a bit of backtracking. From hidden weapons and upgrades to rare and valuable treasures, extra exploration can help out quite a bit, particularly on the higher difficulty levels. While we would recommend that players investigate as much as they can themselves, we’re here to cast some light on Resident Evil Village’s darkest corners and recesses....

From Software’s newest action-adventure video game is a mega-hit with Souls-fans and newcomers alike. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice follows protagonist Wolf, a shinobi who is tasked with trying to rescue Kuro, The Divine Heir. Made from the same developer as Dark Souls, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice bares many similarities to Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Sekiro, however, is far more challenging and surprising than Dark Souls. Character improvement still aids players in battle, but it seems to have less of an effect in Sekiro....

With Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Ubisoft is pushing their popular annual franchise to its limits. More specifically, they are taking the traditional open world mechanics gamers have come to know and love in Assassin’s Creed, and seamlessly blending them together. If there’s a single most common criticism of Infinity Ward’s annual modern military FPS Call of Duty, it’s that the series is suffering from franchise fatigue and each new game is far too similar to the last. Fable: The Journey represents Microsoft’s latest - and likely final - attempt to prove that Kinect, in its current incarnation, is a viable control interface for more than just dance simulators and mini-game collections. Having been in production since 2006 (when it was officially unveiled as Final Fantasy Versus XIII), Final Fantasy XV has some lofty expectations riding on its shoulders. As the new Xbox One approaches, the task of flaunting the console’s prowess falls to the first-party developers; and in that regard, Forza Motorsport 5 isn’t disappointing. Over the life of the Xbox 360 developer Turn 10 Studios has pushed their series forward, with graphics, user interfaces and physics that make Forza Motorsport the premiere racing simulation today. Now that Forza Motorsport 5 has been detailed and demoed at E3 2013, it seems the team has found a way to make a near-perfect racer even better....

Fans of the Grand Theft Auto series have, at this point, largely come to know what to expect from the development team at Rockstar Games. A little graphic, a little gripping, more than a little crass, but always extremely polished. Much the same was expected from Grand Theft Auto 5 long before it was even announced, but the evidence and rhetoric that’s been used to describe the game and drum up excitement seems to be implying more of a change than many might have predicted....
