We’ve put time into learning the cast of Hastati Squad in Part 1, and saw the losses and fears that motivated them in Part 2. Part 3 finally brought the Covenant up against Thomas Lasky and the students of Corbulo Academy, but left fans hanging. Part 4 of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn has arrived at last, and the action is well worth the wait. Those who couldn’t make it through the week with only the promise of a live-action Master Chief had the stunning ‘Scanned’ trailer to tide them over, but there’s just no comparison....

Rare may not have be utilizing its iconic properties to the best of its ability lately, with the exception being the recently rebooted Killer Instinct, but that doesn’t mean its not churning out content. The latest game to hit store shelves from the acclaimed developer was none other than Kinect Sports Rivals — although we thought the final game showed promise but fell short in our review. Even then, Rare is more than happy to keep cranking out new content and updates for fans....

Those who played 2011’s PAYDAY: The Heist may have noticed that the game bears some resemblance to Left 4 Dead, despite the absence of zombies. The two IPs are about to become even more intertwined, as Overkill and Valve are working on a PAYDAY: The Heist/Left 4 Dead crossover! Rumors of the crossover first began to spread when players noticed a few “hints” in PAYDAY, referencing Valve’s Left 4 Dead franchise....

Although the release of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was not widely considered to be the first big event of the fall season, that will soon change. Reviews for Monolith and Warner Bros’ Tolkien adaptation are in, and thus far they have been almost exclusively positive. In fact, very few critics have had anything bad to say about the game. Most have explained how the Batman: Arkham City combat meshes well with a well-realized open world, and praised the story for making clever nods to Tolkien’s universe....

A few days ago, Blizzard announced Overwatch, the developer’s first new game in over a decade. It’s a fast, team-based, third-person shooter in the same vain as Valve’s Team Fortress series, complete with a large roster of combatants that break the mold of what type of characters you’d usually expect from shooters. One in particular is a Gorilla that talks, wears battle armor, and get really upset when his glasses are broken....

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Silent Hill fans, as they watched Konami and Hideo Kojima slowly uncouple from any and all projects. At the moment Kojima’s name was removed from Konami products, most of the focus was on Metal Gear Solid 5 and how that imminent game would be impacted by the separation. However, many also kept Silent Hills in the back of their mind, wondering whether the exciting Kojima/Del Toro collaboration might be cancelled....

After several delays and a change in publishers, South Park: The Stick of Truth is finally in the hands of fans that have long awaited its arrival. When Ubisoft first announced their highly anticipated open world, tech-focused title Watch Dogs would not make its November 2013 release date, they followed the announcement with a new, tentative release window of spring 2014. Now, they have provided a little more clarity as to what “spring” means, and also revealed that the Wii U version of the game has been delayed. Now, provided the game doesn’t slip again, it appears Watch Dogs is headed for a release sometime between April and June of this year, right before summer kicks off in earnest....
