Now that the shroud of secrecy has been lifted off of Batman: Arkham City’s New Game Plus mode — thanks to a complete list of the game’s achievements — Rocksteady Studios has come out to talk a little bit about the mode. More importantly, the developer wants gamers to know what exactly they are getting themselves into when they choose the New Game Plus mode. While Arkham City’s New Game Plus does follow the traditional format of allowing the player to restart the game with all of the gadgets and XP achieved during their first play through, this mode also pits gamers face to face with some more challenging enemies....
As far as announcements and villain reveals for Batman: Arkham City go, Rocksteady has decided to remain silent with the little time left before the game’s release next week. In fact, the reveal for the Mad Hatter was discovered completely by accident. Of course, the dam could burst anytime now that the Xbox 360 version of the game has been leaked. However, the newly released launch trailer for Batman: Arkham City features some choice bits of dialog that, when combined with other information known about the game, paints an interesting picture....

Earlier today, Bungie gave Destiny fans a guided tour of the new social space, The Reef. During the livestream, players saw, among other things, the new NPCs that will populate The Reef. They also addressed rumors that the social space was already on the Destiny disc, but first let’s cover the new details. As players expected, The Reef will serve as a HUB replacement for the House of Wolves DLC. Destiny Players will be able to buy new gear, collect and turn in bounties, and even access their vault directly from The Reef....

Besides confirming a finalized roster for Injustice: Gods Among Us, we’re very curious to hear what NetherRealm Studios has crafted as the story set-up for their upcoming fighting game. Though watching superheroes and super villains do battle is nothing new, NetherRealm’s Ed Boon has suggested there is a specific reason as to not just why these characters — like Superman, Catwoman, and Nightwing — are fighting each other, but why a super powered character like Wonder Woman can go toe-to-toe with someone like Lex Luthor....

While it may look like a Dreamworks production, rest assured that Knack was built from the ground-up to be an accessible PlayStation 4 title. Revealed today at the PlayStation Meeting and directed by the PS4’s Lead Architect, veteran designer supervisor Mark Cerny, Knack tells the tale of a robot designed to fend off an invading horde of goblins. Knack is a very versatile robot who is able to pick up particles from around the environment and form himself into different bodies, though his face and central energy sphere remain consistent through his various forms....

Voice talent is without a doubt one of the most important factors of making a game.
