Dutch development studio Guerilla Games has announced the pre-order incentives awaiting gamers in Killzone: Shadow Fall. The PlayStation 4 launch title will treat early adopters to an assortment of high-tech gizmo skins, thundering melodies and even a mysterious victory animation for multiplayer. First revealed back at E3 2013, Killzone’s very own RC drone, the “OWL” will receive three-flavors of aesthetic upgrades in the pack. Designed with the discerning Shadow Marshal in mind, these visual skins include a Bumblebee-like black and yellow motif, a fighter jet-esque sneering shark design and — Uncle Sam’s personal favorite — the Stars and Stripes insignia....

Things are not looking good for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning developer 38 Studios. After their game failed to meet sales expectations, despite being an interesting blend of Fable and The Elder Scrolls, the developer is now on the brink of becoming insolvent and has failed to make payments on their $75 Million loan. Now this wouldn’t be too bad, if the loan in question hadn’t come from the state of Rhode Island, who had lured 38 Studios away from Boston in an effort to spurn on their economy....

In addition to the promise of a more powerful platform, the Xbox One also brings with it even stronger tools — tools that will accommodate a wealth of unique experiences. One of the most unique experiences headed to the Xbox One at launch is Project Spark, Microsoft’s next-gen game creation title. While the ideas present in Project Spark have been seen before — most obviously in Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet franchise — our E3 2013 eyes-on demo of the game highlighted the title’s potential....

Over 20,000 eager fantasy fans pledged hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it made, and the final product leaves no doubt that it was money well-spent. Heavily influenced by Norso myth, legend and culture with a light dose of fantasy thrown in, The Banner Saga tells the story of a group of humans and varl (giants) struggling to survive in a strange time....

As if the Phantom Pain and Metal Gear discussion didn’t already have enough fuel for its fire, developer Moby Dick Studio (the potential “shell corporation” for Kojima Productions) has released some new screenshots for MGS fans to uncover every detail from. While the more substantial pieces of evidence gleaned from the trailer — namely the game’s logo — are omitted, there are still closer looks at the game’s protagonist, who bares a striking resemblance to Big Boss....

The Witcher 2 was one of the must-have titles of early 2011 and we gave the game a glowing review as a legitimate competitor against Skyrim. One small problem with the game was that it was only available to PC gamers. This all changed during E3 2011 when it was announced by Microsoft that the game will be making its way to the Xbox 360. Remember a couple days back when it was reported that the release date for the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings would be announced soon? Well, told ya so. Details don’t stop there, however – there are plenty of new incentives for series veterans and newcomers alike to explore the kingdom of Temeria. After some delay, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and CD Projekt RED confirmed that the magic date set for launch is April 17, 2012....

For the last few years, while World of Warcraft subscribers slowly declined outside of the months surrounding expansions, Blizzard fans began to expect an announcement about when Project Titan would arrive to replace the decade old MMO. All that changed earlier this year when Blizzard revealed that Project Titan was dead and World of Warcraft once again became the studio’s only MMO option for the foreseeable future. As the game approaches its 10-year anniversary this month, Blizzard is comfortable saying that the world of Azeroth isn’t going offline anytime soon....

First released in 2010 on the Nintendo Wii, Xenoblade Chronicles has gained a large fan base in the ten years since its release. However, its release on western shores seemed unlikely until a fan campaign known as Operation Rainfall ensured its release in the US and Europe. Since then the Xenoblade Chronicles expanded with a sequel and a spin-off. Now, along with Fire Emblem and the Pokmon series, Xenoblade has become Nintendo’s third proper Japanese RPG, and with this stunning remaster with a new epilogue and updated visuals the series looks set to continue with an inevitable third entry....

The length of video games is something that divides the community. Some players only buy long, open-world games in the hope of getting their money’s worth, while others prefer quality over quantity and are consequently happy with a short, linear adventure. Deadpool and Wolverine are two of the most favorite superheroes. But other than that and their somewhat similar powers, they’re completely different. Deadpool has very few boundaries, there aren’t many things he wouldn’t do. Unlike most superheroes, he realizes he lives in the comics or in movies, and does whatever he wants.
