It’s been a whirlwind of news for TellTale Games’ forthcoming adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead graphic novel, capping off with the reveal of the game’s first trailer earlier this week. We do know that the first episode for the five part series is set to release some time in April, and now we know how much it and all episodes will cost. As revealed yesterday by TellTale, the first episode for The Walking Dead will only set gamers back $5....

When XCOM 2 was announced a few days ago, fans everywhere celebrated the return of the classic turn-based strategy sci-fi franchise. 2012’s reboot of the series, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, created a larger fan base for XCOM than ever before, leaving fans clamoring for a full-fledged sequel. While many found XCOM 2’s reveal exciting, some fans are disappointed, particularly over the announcement that XCOM 2 is a PC exclusive. As things stand right now, XCOM 2 might see a console release eventually, but for the foreseeable future, Firaxis is focused entirely on optimizing XCOM 2 for PC....

The Nuzlocke Challenge is a great way to spice up your Pokemon playthroughs. It adds some challenge to the games and forces you to use Pokemon you probably tend to overlook. After Disney announced they were shuttering developer LucasArts and sticking to strictly licensing deals, the general consensus was that the Star Wars franchise was more up for grabs than ever. Any developer that could make a great pitch had a very realistic shot of making a Star Wars game. While we’ve yet to hear too much about potential licensing deals, and whether or not Star Wars 1313 might find new life elsewhere, one developer is throwing its name into the pile....

Every year, gamers can count on Activision to put out new entries in at least two of their franchises. The first is Call of Duty, which will be seeing a new release in 2015 in the form of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and the second, of course, is Skylanders. Since its debut in 2011, Skylanders has proven to be a significant franchise for Activision, warranting an annual release schedule as each game in the series continues to sell very well year after year....
