It’s become a very common practice as of late to offer a season pass alongside most big-budget video games releases, and the ability to purchase content ahead of its release does provide consumers with a nice little discount. Now Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed plans to launch a season pass for the DC Comics free-for-all, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and it’ll offer fans savings on future downloadable characters. A grand total of four currently unannounced combatants will be made available to those who purchase the pass, and it’ll save digital shoppers a total of $5 — provided they already planned on buying all four of the new fighters....

Shortly after Microsoft’s Xbox One event, Electronic Arts announced they would have closer looks at their upcoming next-gen slate at E3 next month. They confirmed titles like Battlefield 4, Need for Speed, FIFA, and Madden would make appearance, and they also teased a Star Wars announcement. While most of the attention was focused what Star Wars related news EA was preparing, the publisher simply slid confirmation a new Need for Speed was in-development right under the radar....

Earlier this year, gamers who invested in the Wii U with hopes of playing through a new Rayman game that was exclusive to the platform had those aspirations dashed when Ubisoft announced that the game would be pushed back until September so it could be ported to the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and PS Vita. Three days ago Chris Roberts, creator and lead on the in-development Star Citizen, deliver another ‘Letter from the Chairman’ blog entry on the game’s official site to discuss the game’s milestone achievement of earning $30 million in crowdfunding, $10 million more than the game’s initial expected budget a full year before the game’s full public release. Yesterday, Roberts sent another similar message as the game hit $31 million. When we started writing this article this morning we figured by the end of the day Star Citizen and developer Cloud Imperium Games Corporation would complete raking in another million and pass the $32 million mark....

Since its unveiling at E3 last year, The Order: 1886 has been a major target on Sony fans’ radar. That initial demo, while a bit confusing at first, piqued our interest, and since then the game’s profile has only continued to grow. Now, a full year later, we were finally given the chance to play The Order: 1886 at E3 2014, and the game did not disappoint. Granted, the demo was not as substantial as we hoped, but it still left a lasting impression....

Fans of Square Enix will finally return to a land of medieval fantasy thanks to Final Fantasy XVI. Thanks to its reveal trailer, the new Final Fantasy game boasts familiar summons and a faction-centric narrative. However, this time, the story takes place in a medieval realm populated by kings, knights, and warriors. As such, this new setting serves as a nice change of pace from the rather sci-fi fantasy look of previous titles....
