Originally released in 2002 on the PlayStation 2, the debut Kingdom Hearts game has seen numerous re-releases. After almost twenty years, PC gamers are finally getting a chance to experience this classic Square RPG that launched an incredible franchise spanning several console generations. This new information may have piqued the interest of people who otherwise might not have cared. However, before you dive into the adventure, there are a few things you should know....

In Borderlands 2, the mix of dystopia and future technology creates something that doesn’t quite meet post-apocalyptic expectations, but rather is far more ridiculous in the most positive way possible. This time around, instead of just having bandits in encampments, enemies will deploy from space! The company that created the Breath of Fire series, one of the best RPG’s in history, brings us Dragon’s Dogma, an odd stab at an offline MMO styled RPG that’s hardest quest is finding a decent story. Ironically, Breath of Fire designer Makoto Ikehara worked on this game’s world and script elements. Go figure. For those hoping for an engaging, epic tale, the band-aid needs to be ripped off right now....

Halo 4 fans won’t have to worry about boredom over the next few months. While we do advocate food and water and maybe a modicum of movement from time to time, our Halo 4 review, consonant with most others, found that it wasn’t hard to get lost among the War Games and Spartan Ops and Forge and Theater modes of 343’s vastly improved, every-bit-as-addicting-as-Bungie’s-trilogy online component. Better yet, the baseline offerings are only the beginning....

A new games bundle on Steam has curated a selection of politically charged indie titles. The “Keep Your Politics” bundle is going for $38 USD, and contains six indie games. According to game publisher The Dairymen, these games were chosen because they “have important messages to share about the powers controlling politics and the people trying to survive its effects.” First on the list is Headliner: NoviNews. This simulator puts you in the role of a journalist, choosing which stories to publish....

There’s no shortage of reasons for fans of third-person action games, science fiction, or role-playing to get excited about the release of Mass Effect 3 this year, with all signs pointing to the game being the blockbuster we all hope it will be. But with concrete details about the fate of Commander Shepard still hard to find, it seems that one thing can be considered inevitable: the female version of Mass Effect 3’s protagonist will be a redhead....

Just recently Minecraft developer Mojang revealed that the console versions of their popular brick-based title had surpassed the PC/Mac versions in terms of total sales. While the announcement itself — that Minecraft is a huge success on console — didn’t come as much of a surprise, it was a bit surprising to think that gamers preferred the couch-based experience of console Minecraft versus the PC version. Especially because the PC version carries the latest and the greatest when it comes to the game’s feature set....

Delays aren’t always a sign of good things to come. Sometimes they can help to really refine a game, and other times all they do is make things worse. Spec Ops: The Line has seen numerous delays since its 2009 announcement, but now that its June 26th 2012 release date has been revealed we can finally see how time has treated the (virtual) sands of Dubai. Spec Ops: The Line was supposed to hit retailers in the Spring, but has now been moved to an early Summer release....

By now most gamers have heard the claims that The Order: 1886 is a short game. If those gamers were quick enough, they saw the playthrough or at least heard tell of the playthrough, which in turn inspired an interesting conversation about game length and value. And while developer Ready at Dawn did their best to assure gamers that the completion times were grossly mirsrepresented, the trepidation with regards to buying The Order remained....

It’s been almost a month and a half since the last episode from Telltale Games, but The Walking Dead is finally back. After the events that occurred in the most mournful episode yet, gamers knew that Telltale would continue pushing the envelope in terms of storytelling and evoking emotions. With only one episode left, the series is ready to provide closure and entice gamers with a retailed limited edition, which includes the entire Walking Dead compendium....

When it rains it pours. Shortly after Uncharted Creative Director Amy Hennig was confirmed as having left developer Naughty Dog, Game Director Justin Richmond has now revealed he will also be leaving the company. Richmond will take a post at League of Legends developer Riot Games. Much like Hennig’s, no clear reason was provided as to why Richmond decided to leave Naughty Dog. Rather, in an official statement to IGN, Richmond expressed his love for the company before revealing his next adventure....

Thanks to the release of the appealing compilation package, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, gamers have been reminded of the fun, celestial journey that is Super Mario Galaxy. And with the enhancements that come with the high-res display and Joy-con support, this epic 3D platformer manages to shine more brightly than ever. Given the emphasis on exploration and range of unique galaxies, it should come as no surprise that there are plenty of secrets and easter eggs beckoning to be discovered....
