The Kingdom Hearts franchise is considered to be one of the most confusing and convoluted by many gamers. Though there are only three main titles, there are a lot of spin-offs that are equally important to understanding the series. A couple of installments in between the original game and Kingdom Hearts II change the context of many moments for those that have played them and those that haven’t. When fans begin playing the highly praised sequel, they are introduced to a brand new main character named Roxas....

The stigma attached to in-app purchases has struck again, and this time, the online games platform Roblox is the culprit. One 11-year-old managed to accumulate a bill of over $3,000 by making more than 300 in-app purchases by way of her mother’s finances. As reported by The Guardian, one individual from Cheshire, England wrote in to report their daughter’s digital spending spree. It was explained that while their wife was in the hospital recovering from an operation, their daughter was left unmonitored whilst playing on the online game platform....

Few video game protagonists are as likable as Arthur Morgan. As if there wasn’t already enough ways to play and iterations of Angry Birds, Rovio is proudly announcing today that the popular bacon-making simulation will be coming to Facebook on February 14th, a.k.a. Valentine’s Day. But, like with all of the new platform additions, Rovio isn’t simply porting Angry Birds to Facebook they are making an entire event out of it. If you’ll remember Rovio was initially trying to get a Facebook port out back in May 2011, but circumstances were working against them — or perhaps they hadn’t cleared their launch party in Jakarta....

With just over a month to go until Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is released, Ubisoft is basking in the hype by releasing three new trailers for the fourth console title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The three latest trailers for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations show off not only a new weapon and some single player footage, but some very impressive beta stats. While some may consider the Revelations Beta extension as a way to fluff up the multiplayer stats, there are still some very impressive numbers in there for a beta that lasted just under two weeks....

The wait for House of Wolves is nearly over. In anticipation of its upcoming release, Bungie has been releasing information all day long about the upcoming House of Wolves DLC expansion for Destiny. It all started when the House of Wolves prologue dropped. From there, Bungie announced the release date for the DLC add-on, and we now know that House of Wolves will release on May 19th. Now Bungie has released yet another new piece of information about House of Wolves, this time in regards to a brand new game mode that will be added to the game as a part of the expansion....

It’s a big day for Destiny players as the highly anticipated Dark Below expansion is slated to arrive at 1am PST later tonight. The DLC will bring with it several new pieces of content including two new strikes (one if you’re on Xbox), a handful of new story missions, new weapons and gear, and a brand new raid called Crota’s End. But before Destiny unleashes its selection of new content, Bungie has released a new hot fix that paves the way for The Dark Below....

Reunion specials seem to be the new fad in Hollywood, and the cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is gearing up to join the party. 30 years after the show originally premiered, the players who portrayed that rich but still lovable family will come together for an unscripted HBO Max special to pay tribute to the classic series. It appears the whole remaining main cast will take part in the special, featuring Will Smith, Daphne Maxwell Reid (Vivian), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey)....

A week from today, Grand Theft Auto 5 fans will finally be able to play the 2013 multi game of the year award winner on a PC instead of a console. The GTA 5 PC port has been in the making for a long time, after dozens of ‘will they, won’t they’ rumors; but hopefully the wait will be worth it. For shoppers who pre-ordered GTA5, the first step towards playing the game on a PC starts today....

From cosplay videos to duets and even complete rewrites of scenes from the books, fans who refuse to separate their values from the stories they love have taken to the platform to celebrate themselves and what Harry Potter really means to them....

It was only about two years ago that Sony officially threw its hat into the proverbial ‘Season Pass’ ring, but now that they have, they are going full throttle. As such, it should come as no surprise that their highly anticipated launch PS4 title Killzone: Shadow Fall will be offering its own version of the Season Pass. Killzone is, after all, a very multiplayer-focused title, and one of the first PS4 games to test the console’s online prowess....

When Kingdom Hearts 3 was revealed at E3 2013 for PS4 and Xbox One, fans were ecstatic that the saga of Sora was finally set to be continued with a proper, full-fledged sequel. Since the game’s announcement, Square Enix has kept it mostly under wraps, with the exception of a new gameplay trailer released at the D23 Expo in Japan last October. More information on Kingdom Hearts 3 is expected to drop within the coming months, though....

Over the past several years, the MMO genre has grown exponentially, from huge, triple-A releases like Star Wars: The Old Republic to 2D Facebook titles geared for more casual gamers. Sony Online Entertainment has been evolving along with the market, slowly making the shift to free-to-play on their most popular titles. PlanetSide 2 took center stage at Sony Online Entertainment’s E3 booth this year, and for good reason. The game looks incredible....

The Resistance 3 public beta kicked off a little over a week ago and despite the current matchmaking issues we were still able to get online to tussle with some Chimera scum. To put it simply, the Resistance franchise has taken a large turn with its latest installment - with many of the changes being for the better.
