While the initial launch of Titanfall was a little rocky for some Xbox One players, largely because many were unable to log into Xbox Live, everything appears to be sailing relatively smoothly for fans now. There’s no doubt that fans of Crytek’s FPS hit Crysis are itching for the series’ third installment. For a game that began its humble beginnings as a mod of another game, zombie survival sim DayZ has done remarkably well for itself, capitalizing on the genre du jour of undead killing to garner over 1 million sales. So well has DayZ done (it’s also important to note that the game from Bohemia Interactive is still currently in alpha on Steam Early Access) that even the minds at Sony Online Entertainment have admittedly riffed from the title, leading them to create the similarly themed and styled H1Z1....

Polish developer Techland was the team behind zombie killing affairs Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. While Dead Island never really lived up to the hype of that emotional, slow-motion trailer and Riptide was criticized for being buggy and for failing to build on its predecessor, plenty enjoyed the two games. That’s why there was so much pressure on the developer to do well with Dying Light, Techland’s latest undead-em-up that mixes things up by featuring parkour and enemies that become more vicious and lethal at night....

When Final Fantasy XV was just a spin-off of Final Fantasy XIII, fans seemed less than enthusiastic. Final Fantasy XIII is one of the most derided titles in the franchise, and it’s already gotten a number of sequels. But when Square Enix turned Final Fantasy Versus XIII into Final Fantasy XV, turning the game into a stand-alone title (with a great trailer), everything changed. Screenshots and additional bits of information followed, and eventually Square Enix released a full-on demo, allowing gamers to get their hands on the hotly anticipated title....

What Just Cause 3 may lack in terms of a multiplayer mode, it certainly makes up for it with the explosions and death-defying falls that have become signature to the series. The game was announced last month, and Avalanche Studios has wasted little time in providing Just Cause 3 fans with more screenshots than they could grapple a stick at. The launch trailer for Mass Effect 3’s Leviathan DLC is finally here, even if the extra story content doesn’t arrive until next week. It’s been a rough for weeks for Silent Hill fans. First, the project was sent into development turmoil when Konami announced a separation from developer Hideo Kojima. Then, things got worse when the publisher confirmed Silent Hills, the exciting new reboot in the franchise, had been cancelled.
