Telltale Games’ release strategy, while one guaranteed to keep the gamer hooked for the better part of a year, is a bit of a nuisance. Forcing loyal fans to wait upwards of two months for the next episode of their highly anticipated game series is torture, especially when it’s as good as The Walking Dead. The developer has already released a first and second episode for The Walking Dead, but talk of the series’ third episode hasn’t been shared with quite as much frequency....

Even though Destiny is now almost a year old, Bungie’s sci-fi shooter continues to maintain strong attention and gamer support. Earlier this year, the developer announced there are around 16 million players averaging three hours per day in Destiny. While those numbers may have tapered off in the months after, there’s no doubt the recent expansion, House of Wolves, helped bring a surge of players back into the game. With Destiny’s popularity still high, and with Bungie and publisher Activision planning a couple more expansions this year, it’s no surprise that the lead developer may be looking for a little assistance....

In the grand tradition of Capcom, a company who enjoys milking their fighting games for all they’re worth, another updated version to a previously released title is hitting shelves in the form of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. The Mass Effect universe is one of the most definitive sci-fi video game franchises in the late 2000s and the 2010s. In Call of Duty’s Zombies mode, the difficulty has always ranged from insane to laughable, depending on the game. For example, Black Ops IIII was universally agreed upon to be one of the easier Zombies iterations, while World at War’s unpolished mechanics made it the most difficult. By comparison, Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War’s Zombies mode lands somewhere in the middle, though who knows if that’ll change after Firebase Z releases....

With Assassin’s Creed III’s October release guaranteed to be one of the more ballyhooed events of the fall, it won’t be surprising to see pre-orders of Ubisoft’s American Revolution period piece scaling up the side of charts worldwide. According to the developer, the three-week period since Assasssin’s Creed III’s official reveal has seen a surge in pre-orders, eclipsing Assassin’s Creed Revelations by a tenfold margin in the same time frame....
