Although gamers have yet to experience Gran Turismo 6, Polyphony Digital’s latest vehicular opus, the developer is already teasing a potential Gran Turismo 7. However, this proposed Gran Turismo 7 might not be the sequel that fans expect. According to Polyphony CEO Kazunori Yamauchi, the developer has some ideas in mind for a PS4 port of Gran Turismo 6, but by the time they are done implementing those ideas and porting the game to Sony’s next-gen platform the game might take on a new identity....

Gamers impatiently waiting for 343 Industries to finish Halo 5: Guardians will receive at least a few morsels of information on the upcoming game to sate their hunger when Halo: The Master Chief Collection releases next month. And with the arrival of Microsoft’s ‘Halo Channel,’ it’s never too early to start unlocking additional content. 343 has revealed that one of the games in The Master Chief Collection - Halo 2: Anniversary - will feature special terminals intended to provide new information that links the story of Halo 2 to Halo 5....

It’s terrifying news, but it’s the truth: in Halo 4, The Flood are back. Now before some of you run for the hills, cradling your shotguns and hoping to stay hidden, allow us to clarify. The new campaign taking players to Requiem, and into a fight with the ancient Prometheans will not include The Flood as an additional opposing force. But in the online multiplayer, it’s a different story. The Flood will be worked into the existing ‘Infection’ game type, facing a squad of players off against a single infected enemy....

Along with three new protagonists, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep also introduced an entirely new type of enemies that act as a pseudo precursor to the Heartless in the timeline. One of these new Unversed brought a mechanic from the original game in a new package, with a bright color palette, simplified character model, and a new twist on the unique feature. The Tank Toppler is infamous at this point among Kingdom Hearts fans, due to the way that these Unversed reworked the armored front mechanic of the first game’s Large Bodies....

After joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the writer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and creator of Disney Plus’ Loki series, Michael Waldron is set to venture to a galaxy far, far, away. Lucasfilm has tapped Waldron to pen the screenplay for the developing Star Wars film produced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. With the Skywalker saga now complete following the release of The Rise of Skywalker, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy is preparing a new Star Wars era films with a slate of projects for Disney Plus and features exploring new corners of the fictional universe....

While recent years have seen EA Sports tinkering around with the offensive mechanics, controls, and features in the Madden NFL series, this year’s iteration, which would be Madden NFL 13, will see big changes coming to the defensive side of things. Though Madden 12 had many areas that needed work, the most problematic area ended up being the defense, both in terms of its inconsistencies and its lack of realistic AI routines....

Certifiably insane sandbox title Saints Row IV is a wrap! With work now complete on the sophomoric franchise’s latest entry, publisher Deep Silver is quickly turning its attention towards the game’s post-release incentives. Commander-in-Chief among these is the title’s DLC Season Pass feature, a discount content set comprising two mission packs and an exclusive, bundle-only armament. This so-called ‘Rectifier’ anal probe weapon appears to be the spiritual successor to Saints Row 3’s controversial ‘Penetrator’ bat - an assault stick so offensive it wound up being completely reworked for the title’s Japanese release....

At the core of it, Sonic Generations’s real purpose is to provide a trip down memory lane, to look back at the last twenty years of the Sonic franchise and see how far the series has come. While it could easily stand on its own merits as an excellent game and a worthy addition to the Sonic franchise, Sonic Generations shouldn’t be expected to replicate the original games down to the very letter....

Fans of StarCraft 2 are still waiting for the game’s first expansion, which is slated for release in 2013. 2014 has seen the video game hype machine backfire on its users a little. The Fallout universe has a lengthy alternate history timeline, spanning from roughly the 1950s and into the year 2287, where the events of Fallout 4 begin to take place. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, when it came out in February of 2012, was overshadowed by the action-adventure RPG giants of its time. That didn’t stop it from becoming a classic. Although not that many people got the chance to play the game—compared to Skyrim or Fallout—those who did get the chance to play it were treated with a great game with decent RPG elements and fun combat. Fast forward to 2020 and the gaming community is once again blessed with the presence of Kingdoms of Amalurvia a remaster, aptly titled Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning....
