The year has not been devoid of big game releases. So far there have been some heavy hitters like Monster Hunter Rise and Persona 5 Strikers. That said, the year has also received its fair share of delays, including Deathloop, Gran Turismo 7, and Hogwarts Legacy. Will there be any more triple-A games that will get pushed back further or maybe even out of 2021 altogether? Only time will tell but in the meantime there are plenty of indie games waiting in the wings to launch....

Pokemon and Naruto have existed side-by-side for the better part of two decades and yet the two properties rarely merge. Fans of both love the characters, so it’s not surprising that the two would work quite nicely as a mash-up. Pokemon build partnerships with humans and they both grow from the bonds formed. Naruto is home to many troubled characters who would likely find comfort in forming a bond with a Pokemon....

When one talks about some of the greatest gaming trilogies of all time, it’s only a matter of time before the Mass Effect trilogy comes into the conversation. Assassin’s Creed NPCs are stupid, plain and simple. Smart AI takes a lot of work, which was directed at other aspects of the game. That being said, stupid AI can be a source of great laughter… when they’re not interrupting your kill. This list will mostly be directed toward civilians. The enemies/guards deserve their own list. The Final Fantasy franchise now has 15 main titles to its name, as well as numerous sequels and spin-off titles. All of the games feature many recurring elements, such as certain creatures, classes, themes, enemies, names, and more. Gears Tactics is the latest game in the Gears (or Gears of War, as boomers may call it) franchise. A radical departure for the third-person shooter series, Gears Tactics is instead a tactical, turn-based RPG similar to XCOM or the recently released John Wick Hex. The DCEU has been in a state of flux ever since WB cut out half an hour from Batman v Superman. While the Ultimate Edition managed to remedy most of the theatrical cut’s issues, Batman v Superman’s underwhelming critical and box office performance caused Warner Bros. to heavily reign in Zack Snyder’s vision. By Justice League’s original release, Snyder had been replaced with Joss Whedon and roughly 90% of the movie was reshot....

The latest title from Bloober Team and supernatural mystery game The Medium spends the majority of its seven to eight-hour story unraveling the mysteries of the Niwa Resort, the Niwa Massacre, and Marianne’s past with both Niwa and the mysterious Thomas, who contacts her in the middle of the night asking for her help. While the majority of major story points have their respective questions answered by the end of the game, there are still several mysteries that players don’t get a definitive answer for, either because they weren’t important enough to the story to bother focusing on, or simply to increase the mystery of the story in general....

As recently reported, the PS3, PS Vita, and PSP stores are due to close in July. This will be a devastating blow to fans of older games and consoles, especially considering PlayStation isn’t that great at backward compatibility. Hopefully, Sony will keep the stores live, or find a way to port all the exclusive games on there that will be lost forever. A man has been arrested in Japan for selling hacked Pokemon to Sword and Shield players. Hacking a game’s save data or modifying it in some way is a pretty common practice. However, one Japanese man will be regretting doing so to Pokemon Sword and Shield right about now. Asahi News reports a 23-year-old man from Nagoya, Japan has been arrested for selling hacked Pokemon to players in Japan. It’s estimated the hacker has made ¥1....

These past two weeks have been overloaded of Assassin’s Creed III reveals and leaks. Many players have jumped into the franchise full force since its inception, but there may still be some stragglers left in the dark, hesitant to jump into the series’ complex story. Ubisoft wants gamers to know that there is no better time to still get in on the Assassin’s Creed franchise and AC3 will be a good starting point for those who wish to join in....

None of the screenshots or trailers have inspired quite the same kind of internet creativity that the reveal of the Ben Affleck batsuit for Batman vs. Superman did last week, but it has still been exciting stuff for fans of the franchise....

Even though it’s been only a couple of days since the release of the open beta for Battlefield 3, developer DICE is already showing they are willing to improve the game’s multiplayer experience until it is perfect. Just released is a new update for the beta that, while not addressing every issue, fixes many of the glitchy instances players have come across. Most of these fixes come in the form of gameplay tweaks — making sure that players don’t end up in undesirable situations and aren’t faced with/given unfair weapon advantages — and none seem to address the connection issues many have been having....

With long term support for Forza 5 Motorsport waning right out of the gate, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that developer Turn 10 Studios would need to make some changes moving forward. But first, before thinking about Forza 6 there was the hope that the developer would at least clean up the experience in Forza 5 enough to avoid any unpleasantries. And that’s just what they’ve done. Starting today, Turn 10 has removed the restriction on Forza Motorsport 5 DLC cars that required players purchase the vehicle using in-game credits after first purchasing it with real money....

E3 2015 is right around the corner and fans are eager to see what Microsoft’s Black Tusk Studios has been doing since acquiring the Gears of War IP and assets from Epic Games back in 2014. Since that time, Microsoft has openly spoken about work on the new Gears of War title as it’s progressed over the months but there’s been little in terms of actual information or any sort of gameplay teases....

Electronic Arts and developer Danger Close Games have been struggling to position their upcoming first person military shooter, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, alongside genre heavyweights, Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Despite showing promise in our hands-on preview, interest in the Medal of Honor followup has been comparatively low - leading the publisher to reduce sales estimates for the soon-to-be-released title. Making matters worse, the title’s PR campaign took a hit a month back when Executive Producer Greg Goodrich started a series of featured blog posts, detailing the Warfighter weapons by providing links to actual gun sellers - enabling players to purchase the real world counterparts of their in-game weapon arsenal....

Talk of a new Medal of Honor title has been floating around the internet quite a bit recently. News of the obligatory sequel sparked after a teaser in Battlefield 3’s manual and today, details have finally surfaced, including the game’s name: Medal of Honor: Warfighter. We had expected Medal of Honor: Warfighter to be revealed in an upcoming edition of PSM3, but it turns out the game was outed by Official Xbox Magazine instead....

PC gamers can rest a little easier now that the first DLC Collection for Modern Warfare 3 has finally been given a date. Individual content drops have been rolling out for Premium Call of Duty Elite members since January, but it was only in March that non-Elite members (on the Xbox 360) were able to get their hands on the four new multiplayer maps and two new Spec Ops missions....
