Whether it’s a lack of innovation or the complexity of development cycles, the genre has definitely seen better days. EverQuest Next and its user-creation platform, Landmark, are looking as though they could breathe new life into it though and with the announcement that it will be moving into closed beta next week, gamers won’t have long to wait before getting their hands on the title....

Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is premiering on Disney Plus later this week. Marvel Studios president and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige recently teased that there are “certainly ideas” for a season two. After a soft launch as a browser-based MMORPG, Transformers Universe is slated to return at some point this summer, only with a new direction. Now, the title is being positioned as a tactical action game while retaining its massively multiplayer online billing.
