With The Dark Below expansion already in the hands of Guardians and The House of Wolves on its way soon, we’re coming up on the end of what we know for sure about future plans for Bungie’s Destiny. However, it seems that a leak has presented us with the information we’re looking for — a sizable ‘Comet’ content expansion is on its way later this year. The leak comes from a post on the official Bungie forums, which shares a inexplicably low-quality photograph supposedly taken at one of the developer’s internal meetings....

When Blizzard’s hack-and-slash action RPG Diablo was unleashed on computers in December of 1996, it caught on like hellfire. The unique blend of dungeon exploring and real-time RPG elements gained the game a cult following, which in turn lead to fans combing through the game to find more content. While secret content was never found in the original Diablo, rumors persisted, with fans claiming that the game contained a secret cow level....

After WWE 2K21 has been discontinued, WWE 2K fans are now looking towards WWE 2K22 as the title that will redeem the franchise. Following a lackluster launch courtesy of WWE 2K20, there will be much pressure for the next installment to perform exceptionally better than previous titles. 2K has skipped a year with their annual release of WWE wrestling simulators, and are therefore expected to deliver with their next installment....

If ModNation Racers and Motorstorm are PlayStation’s arcade-y racers then the Gran Turismo series is the hyper-realistic feather in its cap. The last game, Gran Turismo 6, pushed the PS3 to its limits with developer Polyphony Digital wringing every ounce of power from the aging console. But it wasn’t a complete success for them. Despite being the series’ swansong on last-gen, Gran Turismo 6 made it onto our 2013 gaming disappointments list due to its inclusion of microtransactions which many felt were shoehorned in....

Rockstar and Grand Theft Auto Online sure like to celebrate. Over the past year, Rockstar’s released no less than three holiday-themed DLC packs for Grand Theft Auto 5’s multiplayer mode. Last winter’s Holiday Gifts blanketed Los Santos in a Christmas snowfall. The Valentine’s Day Massacre Special celebrated true love (and one of the bloodiest events in American mob history) with a slew of classic gangster weapons and apparel. Microsoft often talks up just how important Windows and PC gamers are. Unfortunately, those words rarely match up with the tech giant’s plans, and PC gamers who doubt Microsoft’s commitments beyond the Xbox brand certainly have lots of evidence to back up their claims. Jason Voorhees may not have been the guest character that Mortal Kombat X fans were expecting, but his addition to the DLC lineup is a nice follow-up to Freddy Krueger’s appearance in Mortal Kombat 9. Among the franchise releases to shamble this way, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is the one creating the most waves as it is the one that is diverging the most from the series’ survival horror roots. Despite taking place during one of the most popular events in the series’ history, fans are still trying to figure out if they’re on board with the dramatic changes....

In the post-Portal world, all puzzle platformers are held to a higher standard. The short Valve game proved that a puzzler can deliver original, challenging obstacles and a compelling story just as well as any feature-length game. In the years since its release, many other puzzle platformers (Antichamber, The Ball, and Quantum Conundrum for example) have successfully followed in its footsteps. That said, not every new puzzle platformer manages to find that delicate balance between brain teasers and compelling narrative....

The trend for remastering old games is in full swing right now, but Nintendo fans are pining for a remake which has not yet been announced. Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door is the much-loved 2004 sequel to Paper Mario, yet it’s one of the few Nintendo games which has not yet seen a remaster or digital release of some sort. Now Twitter is trying to change that with the #remasterthousandyeardoor campaign....

If you have yet to check out Resident Evil 4, the entry that revitalized the horror shooter franchise, Capcom is giving you one more chance to check out the title, this time on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Released via the respective console’s digital distribution service, Resident Evil 4 will include the HD version of the popular GameCube title along with the ‘Separate Ways’ epilogue and all of the previously released bonus content for the game....

Timed alongside the release of the Michael Bay-produced feature film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the mobile game is not the worse movie tie-in around. Yes, that may not be a ringing endorsement, but by setting a low bar those who do end up purchasing this game might find some entertainment in it. The concept is fairly simple: players take control of one of the four mutated turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, or Donatello) and battle their way through New York’s sewer system....

As expected, Twisted Metal, the forthcoming PS3 exclusive car combat sequel from Eat Sleep Play, has been confirmed to be supporting Sony’s new Online Pass. The pass first made the jump to Sony-published titles back with Resistance 3, and since then has been seen in the likes of Uncharted 3. Online Passes have been a very divisive new addition to the video game market, and have grown in prevalence with each online-focused title that releases — so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to see Twisted Metal support it....

Developer Telltale Games has become the go-to studio for fans of strong storytelling in video games. Its episodically-released content has created some of the most compelling moments in recent video game history. The Walking Dead gave players some of the toughest moral choices around, whilst the ambitious The Wolf Among Us continued Telltale’s spectacular form and was one of our top 10 games of 2014. Not only that, but Telltale has successfully taken on two major franchises in Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones....

There are a lot of factors that go into declaring the best games of all time – great gameplay, great narratives, and great characters are all important things to consider. But the story-based games that truly leave an impact are the ones that have believable and terrifying villains. Sci-Fi as a genre allows for infinite storytelling motifs. It’s all-encompassing, galactic even, which allows for some incredibly well-developed villain motivations and personas too....

The successful Kickstarter board game Kingdom Death is a complex game with a lot of depth and immense replayability. Four players must band together to slay fierce monsters and build a settlement to provide their heroes, known as Survivors, with the resources and tools needed to continue slaying monsters as the years go by. It can be a bit overwhelming to dive into and developing strategies for winning is half of the game each time you play....

The Grass-type is one of the most common in the Pokemon franchise. It is also one of the potential starter types that many trainers will take to begin their journey.
