Hot on the heels of the first Resistance 3 DLC release developer Insomniac Games have announced that a new patch (1.05) and two new maps are coming gamers’ way very soon. Not only that, the two new maps, which are tentatively referred to as ‘The Creek’ and ‘The Granary,’ will come free of charge — a very sweet deal. For those who might not have heard about the ‘Survival DLC Pack,’ it ships with a new mode called Invasion (which asks teams to spread through troops across various sections of the map to earn points), skins for Herbert, Glenda, Jean, and Charlie, and a Resistance 3 Survivor Concept Art Static XMB theme....

Just before the holiday gaming season began, Sony announced that a handful of the PS3’s best selling franchises would be sold as Collections. Insomniac Game’s Resistance franchise looks to be one of them, with the console-exclusive franchise confirmed to be receiving its own compilation. The Resistance Collection will launch this Winter on the PS3, and brings with it the three mainline console games: Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3....

If you’ve visited Game Rant at all today, you’ve probably noticed a lot of talk about Microsoft’s next-generation console, the Xbox One, which was unveiled today amidst a slew of titles being officially announced for the new platform, including Forza Motorsport 5 and Battlefield 4. Responsible for the World Rally Championship (WRC) and MotorStorm games, developer Evolution Studios are no strangers to the world of racing games. Medal of Honor: Warfighter will commence its beta testing phase – which is really more of come check out one of our multiplayer maps and a new mode phase – starting tomorrow. Just revealed by way of a trailer, the beta will include a map called Sarajevo Stadium, and will introduce a mode called Hot Spot. As the trailer explains, players will have access to 12 of the game’s 72 Tier 1 Operators from 10 different nations....
