The long-awaited sequel to The World Ends With You is finally coming out on July 27, 2021, and it’s a game that many fans never thought would come into existence. NEO: The World Ends With You is a stylish, unique JRPG with sharply-dressed characters and a killer soundtrack. There’s also a demo available for anyone who wants to try the game before they buy it, with the ability to transfer your save data from the demo to the full game when it releases....

Skyrim is a game rich with lore and detail. Even minor characters have rich backstories revealed through dialogue, journal entries, and even the items in their homes. Now, publisher Atlus has revealed sales numbers for 13 Sentinels, and it looks like word of mouth has helped the game’s sales....

In order to discover which of the six classic Bond film storylines will be making an appearance in Activision’s 007 Legends fans will have to unleash their inner Bond. Over on the game’s official website, and through its Facebook fan site, players will have the opportunity to gather clues as to what movie narratives might be included while they also earn some unique prizes. While those prizes most certainly could be DVD or Blu-Ray copies of the many Bond films that have graced the silver screen over the years, Activision implies that the rewards earned for participating in this 007 Legends contest are game-related....

It’s safe to say that anyone who will be buying Assassin’s Creed 3 has already made up their mind to do so. Now, the question - as it so often does these days - turns to exactly which edition of the game to pick up on launch day. Unfortunately the Freedom Edition and Join or Die Edition of Assassin’s Creed 3 are only confirmed for sale in Europe, the Middle East and Africa....

If you participated in the public beta tests for Destiny, it was expected that your progress wouldn’t carry into the full release. That wouldn’t be fair or make much sense given the nature of the game and the beta program. Knowing that there’s a 10-year plan in place for the franchise however, including expansions in between, we very much expect to continue our character progress from Destiny to Destiny 2. It’s to be expected that bugs and glitches are going to crop up in expansions and DLC after they’re initially rolled out to supplement main titles; some releases actually have issues right out of the gate, like CD Projekt Red’s Witcher 3. The title that pits four gamers against a player-controlled and ever-evolving beast has finally debuted the third monster that users can get their hands on next year. Get ready for the newly announced Wraith. This new monster is the smallest addition to Evolve yet, something that may initially put off aficionados of the previously announced behemoths like the Kraken, but this femme fatale has a number of tactics at her disposal that make her a threat to any would-be hunters....

The upcoming release of Grant Theft Auto Online Heists this week is sure to incite massive excitement for Rockstar’s blockbuster game, Grand Theft Auto 5. Despite the fact that the online Heists were supposed to be available at launch, 18 months ago, players are licking their chops and ready to jump in with their friends for an opportunity to make a big score. There’s still a lot of information about Heists that’s yet to be revealed, though at this point it’s only a matter of hours until players can hop in and figure it out....

Despite a serious outpouring of fan disappointment over the From Ashes DLC for Mass Effect 3, BioWare is keeping their marketing train trucking undeterred. Of course, before getting to some of the more important promotional pieces for From Ashes, Creative Director Casey Hudson had to do a little damage control and hopefully set the record straight for fans that were making assumptions. Now that the story has been further fleshed out — BioWare started work on From Ashes after Mass Effect 3 development was finished — it’s time for that big marketing push as we get closer and closer to March 6th....

The Xbox press conference at E3 2014 certainly had more than a few game reveals to its name, with one of the heaviest hitters of their two hours worth of exclusives and announcements being Rise of the Tomb Raider, the sequel to the origins story of Tomb Raider that was released just last year. Hinted at as early as this morning, with the purchase of two domain names by publisher Square Enix, it was already suggested just which direction Lara Croft’s adventures would be taking her next....

Saints Row: The Third seems to take it as a challenge each month to release crazier and crazier screenshots, but we certainly don’t mind. During Gamescom 2011, developers Volition have released a few new unexplainable screenshots along with the trailer for the boss of The Luchadores, Killbane. If the recent eight minute Saints Row 3 video wasn’t enough to satisfy your hunger for footage, you’ll get an adrenaline boost from the content THQ is providing here - and it features even more of fan-favorite Saints member Johnny Gat....

In preparation for the game’s release tomorrow, Activision has just released a new trailer that sets the scene for Spider-Man: Edge of Time. Laying out the storyline essentials and showcasing both Amazing and 2099 Spider-Man’s moves, this trailer is the perfect primer before picking up the game tomorrow. Part of what is so interesting about Spider-Man: Edge of Time — besides getting to once again play as dual Spider-Men — is the time-bending adventure....

It isn’t easy to change a cultural assumption, and any fan of video games knows that no matter how many releases break the billion-dollar sales threshold in record time, society at large remains steadfast in their belief that games are most likely to be time-wasters or hobbies than a legitimate medium. And it’s that belief that the recently announced documentary The Art of the Game is looking to challenge. The product of 2K Games and Story Developing, the documentary follows a crop of design students seeking to tell the best story possible, and choosing the unique nature of a video game to do it....

Since its debut last year, Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead series has been a critical darling, earning accolades left and right. In fact, one could argue that although the developer is picking up new properties like Game of Thrones and Borderlands, The Walking Dead will always be its most popular. Even if The Walking Dead does give up some traction to Game of Thrones or The Wolf Among Us, though, we are happy to confirm that this current season, the series’ second, will not be its last....

Later this summer Transformers Universe, the forthcoming browser-based MMO from Jagex, will roll out to fans, delivering a persistent Cybertronian experience. At one point the game was set to be a more traditional MMO, in the vein of World of Warcraft or Everquest, but Jagex has taken a new approach. Now Transformers Universe will feature a more familiar action strategy approach. In the first of a new featurette series called ‘Under the Hood,’ the folks at Jagex are taking players behind the scenes of Transformers Universe, showing them what makes their MMO unique....

UPDATE: SCS Software has reached out with a correction to its original press release. The previous release contained “an error that happened due to a language and translation barrier.” The company has since updated its verbiage, replacing the controversial phrase with the following: “No matter if you stand for vaccines or against them, these truckers still have to work really hard and we wanted to give them their well-deserved 15 minutes of fame....

Smack dab in the middle of the seventh console generation, 2010 was a relatively mundane year for gamers, and, while it gave us classics like Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption, it also hosted a ton of forgettable shlock, not to mention the utter dreck that was Sonic The Hedgehog 4, Final Fantasy XIII, and a slew of rhythm games looking to capitalize on the success of Guitar Hero....

Fighting games are a rich and diverse genre of video games beloved by a loyal and devoted community of players. There are numerous fighting games with storied lineages, each possessing numerous strong entries. Series like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat will always have an iteration housed within the current consoles but not every fighting game series is so lucky. For every long-running fighting series, there are those that have not received sequels and continuations in what may feel like forever....
