When we first gazed upon the spectacle that was Saint’s Row: The Third’s ‘Enter the Dominatrix’ DLC, its lone screenshot projecting the overtones of a massive alien invasion in the city of Steelport, it was quite apparent that THQ and Volition were planning something big, a long-overdue end to The Third’s middling, sometimes quality-free DLC releases that many of our season pass-owning readers found extremely underwhelming. Jason Rubin, THQ’s new president in lieu of Danny Bilson’s departure, apparently saw the same expansive potential in ‘Enter the Dominatrix....

Quickly skyrocketing to the top of many most-anticipated lists since it was first revealed, The Division is one of the games currently being touted by major publishers that truly seems possible only on next-gen. But while Ubisoft has confirmed the game was being developed with Xbox One and PS4 in mind, a PC release was unconfirmed. That’s all changed, as developer Massive Entertainment has confirmed that The Division will be coming to PC (see the video above)....

Barely a month after its initial announcement, the Slingshot DLC for XCOM: Enemy Unknown is invading computers and consoles worldwide. Call Of Duty: Mobile is as close to a console shooter as mobile games can get right now. To date, it is ranked as one of the overall best games for the platform. With such a large fanbase, it’s only natural that there will be a series of memes that everyone who plays the game will laugh at one way or the other. Looking back at the great year in console gaming that was 2020, Nintendo standpoint it also ushered in the triumphant return of several iconic IPs and franchises. Bethesda’s Skyrim will be ten years old come November 11th, 2021, and much to no one’s surprise, it is still played to this day. The game’s foundation itself lends to nearly limitless replayability, but couple that with nearly a decade of dedicated mod support from passionate fans, as well as various re-releases much to the chagrin and amusement of fans, it is not surprising that Skyrim has endured as long as it has....

The technical brilliance of Microsoft Flight Simulator cannot be denied. Over the years the franchise has been tweaked and adjusted, resulting in some absolutely amazing sights. Social media is awash with beautiful scenic images of stunning locations across the world that make us want to visit them immediately. There seems to be good news for fans of the Alien movie series, as Sega has finally confirmed the development of Alien: Isolation; a survival horror title based on the investigations of Amanda Ripley, the daughter of the film franchise’s hero Ellen Ripley. The publisher isn’t shying away from the disappointing Aliens: Colonial Marines either, releasing a new gameplay trailer, screenshots, and a developer diary explaining why Creative Assembly believes Isolation, and not a generic space marine shooter, is the game that fans of the original film have been waiting for....

As if there weren’t already enough special, regular, and collector’s editions of Assassin’s Creed 3 in existence (or soon to be brought into existence) already, Ubisoft has unveiled yet another one — this one titled the Ubiworkshop Edition. Retailing for $100, a hefty sum for any video game, the Ubiworkshop Edition comes with a copy of the game, the second edition of the Assassin’s Creed Encyclopedia, and the two Assassin’s Creed comic books (one that has already released and one that releases later this summer)....

Amidst what seems to be an unending stream of Batman: Arkham City news, details, and character reveals, it seems that Rocksteady still has at least one villain that remains a secret known only to the developers. But not for long, as fact-hungry fans have less than a week to wait before the shroud of secrecy is lifted, and Batman’s opposing force increases its rank by one. But how this fits into the overall story and previously rumored features is open for speculation, and we’ve got more than a few theories....

Nealy a full week after Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 celebrated the biggest entertainment launch in history, players are still struggling with Call of Duty: Elite. Registration problems persist and service remains intermittent. As a result, paid subscribers are being compensated with 30 days free. The Call of Duty: Elite fiasco might be easier for gamers to understand if the service hadn’t enjoyed such a long beta. More than two million players signed up over the Summer to help get Call of Duty: Elite ready for prime time....

Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda will soon share a single roof, given Microsoft’s acquisition of the latter. Many fans of both RPG studios have hoped that they might take advantage of this to collaborate once again and create a sequel to Fallout: New Vegas. Obsidian developed the original Fallout: New Vegas back in 2010 to critical acclaim, and since then, Obsidian has also gone on to release its own original satirical sci-fi RPG, The Outer Worlds....

From hidden maps to chaotic carmageddons, last year’s Grand Theft Auto 5 has offered plenty of cheats, hidden secrets, and Easter eggs to keep fans on the hunt for additional content over six months after its initial release. Despite the surplus of YouTube walkthroughs and tips and tricks videos for last year’s best-selling game, there is still at least one potential secret that has kept the GTA community stumped, so far....

NetherRealm Studios is in the final stages of pre-release marketing push for their latest DC Comics fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. After months of unveiling new combatants in a variety of mediums - character-centric trailers, Battle Arena match-ups, and first-look images - the developer is revisiting a few fan-favorite fighters that didn’t get as much time in the spotlight. This week, NetherRealm has released a full story and gameplay trailer for Green Lantern - who was unceremoniously revealed through the game’s box art....

Those familiar with developer Twisted Pixel already know that the team isn’t too interested in creating games one might call…’normal.’ With ‘Splosion Man, The Maw, and The Gunstringer establishing the studio as a source of unique gameplay on console or mobile, their next Xbox exclusive - LocoCycle - is keeping the trend alive. After being mysteriously revealed at Microsoft’s E3 press conference last year, the first look at LocoCycle gameplay showed that fans could look forward to yet another fast-paced action game hearkening back to the button-mashers and combo-chaining fighters of old....
