While many figured that after the debacle with Dragon Age II DLC that Electronic Arts would longer be supporting digital platform Steam in their future endeavors, it looks like the bridge to friendship has been constructed once again. Previously we had reported that Battlefield 3 would not be coming to Steam because of the problems EA encountered with providing DLC, but apparently an agreement is trying to be reached. It’s still pretty late in the game so this could very well not happen, but, if it does, it calls into question the forced use of EA’s Origin service....

While the majority of the focus for the past three Call of Duty: Black Ops map packs has been on the multiplayer, the newest DLC, Rezurrection, puts the attention where it rightfully belongs: on the zombies. Delivering only one new zombie map, and four of the zombie maps from World at War, Rezurrection is a high-priced offering for fans of the zombie-slaying mode. But, with the zombie mode relying mostly on a gimmick, has Rezurrection overstayed the welcome of what was once a clever distraction in Black Ops?...

Dean Hall, creator of the wildly acclaimed Arma II mod DayZ, announced that the open-world zombie survival game will not feature mod support at the time of its standalone launch. Modding within a mod remains an elusive feat of PC plying savvy. Posting under the handle “rocket2guns,” Hall addressed members of the Reddit community on Tuesday in a Q&A session regarding his upcoming plans for DayZ....

In a little over two weeks Bungie will give Destiny players their first taste of post-launch story content in the form of The Dark Below DLC expansion. As previously detailed, The Dark Below will include a set of new story missions, one new Strike mission (or two for PlayStation players), a new Raid, and tons of new weapons and gear to collect. But before Bungie lets players go hands-on with The Dark Below there’s still plenty of legwork to be done....
