For all intents and purposes, Double Fine Studios delivered on their promise to recapture the magic of point and click adventures with Broken Age, but they did so with an incomplete product. Act 1 was a great start for the crowdfunded PC title, featuring an intriguing story, tremendously well-realized characters, and brilliant puzzles, but we can’t put a final stamp of approval on the game until Act 2 releases. Unfortunately, Double Fine has already confirmed that Broken Age: Act 2 will not make its previously announced 2014 release date, but instead will be delayed until some time in 2015....

A feature that Destiny players have been clamoring for since launch will be implemented by Bungie next week in an update that will expand the game’s voice chat support. Since Destiny’s release, the only way to talk over voice chat was through “Fireteam” chat. This chat was only available to Guardians in a pre-formed party, and only allowed players to connect with others on their PSN or Xbox Live friends lists....

As players make their way through Ubisoft’s beautifully rendered jungle in Far Cry 3 they will be encountering some not-so-beautiful characters along the way. In fact, many of the characters the player will encounter want nothing more than to watch them suffer. While early trailers for the game have already introduced the game’s main antagonist Vaas and his obsession with insanity, the first in a new series of trailers also introduces Buck, a character who appears to be just as harmful to our hero’s psyche as Vaas....
