Apex Legends is a free-to-play online battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment. In the game, players can choose from a selection of playable characters that are known as legends. Since the game’s release in 2019, a number of new legends have been added to the game. They cannot be played without being purchased by the player through in-game currencies. These can be collected in a number of different ways. One of these characters is Revenant, an assassin that brought death with him wherever he went....

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that took the world by storm, for better or worse. Some loved it for its grand open-world and riveting main campaign, while a vast majority found the game’s abundant game-breaking bugs and irritating glitches abhorrent. The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle has brought a huge amount of new features to Simmers’ games. As well as two new careers there is also a new world, a game-wide eco-footprint system, new community lot types, community action plans, new crafting skills, and much more. However, along with some really great new systems come some really confusing additions. Not everything is logical in The Sims 4 and this expansion is no exception....

10 The Player There are many senseless issues with the player character for either side. One, why don’t they talk? It seemed like an odd idea to create a canon Star Wars game but have both main characters be player created and voiceless. Besides that, it’s a bit strange then that this nameless character, nameless in that they are never referred to whatever name the player gives them, is then trusted to lead each squad as seemingly a rookie....

The only Fire Emblem game to be released for the Nintendo Wii, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn served as a sequel to the previous entry in the series, Path of Radiance. Radiant Dawn is quite unique due to its structure of numerous intersecting stories and perspectives. Due to this structure, the game has a notably large cast of characters for players to utilize. As one would expect with a large roster of characters, some characters greatly outshine other less useful units....

While Season 8 of Game of Thrones has been divisive, it’s still safe to say that HBO’s dark fantasy series will go down as one of the greatest shows in television history. Having won numerous Emmy awards and broken records for the premium cable channel, Game of Thrones has thrilled audiences with its large-scale battle scenes, and shocked them with surprising, often brutal, character deaths. Game of Thrones has millions of fans around the world, and for good reason, and while not everyone has been thrilled about Season 8, many will be sad to see it go....

The gaming world’s view of the Assassin’s Creed franchise seems to have reached a broad consensus of progress, improvement and refinement since the initial game’s inspired arrival. But while many might believe that Assassin’s Creed 2 was what really made the series capitalize on its potential, the creator disagrees. Patrice Desilets, formerly of Ubisoft, and creative director of the first two Assassin’s Creed titles still thinks the sequel removed large portions of what made the original great....

Up until now we’ve heard very little on the subject, however it seems Sony accidently ousted that the game will be getting its own Move peripheral....

It may be the Kickstarter project that changed video game development forever, but Double Fine’s adventure game Broken Age isn’t going to be attempting a similar experiment when it comes to release. For those who missed the crowd-funding train and seek to play the game for a price, there’s no choice but to wait until January 28. The second half of the tale is without a release date, but is bundled with its predecessor....

No, Destiny’s upcoming expansion, House of Wolves, will not have a new raid, and yes, for players who have already fought through Coata’s End and The Vault of Glass countless times, that’s a huge bummer. Oh, sure, Bungie promises that more six-player, cooperative, end-game content is on its way - it’s just not coming with House of Wolves. For better or worse, fans are going to have to keep waiting....

Since its announcement details concerning Evolve, the 4-vs.-1 co-op shooter By Turtle Rock Studios, have been hard to come by for those interested in the game’s finer points. As many diehard fans of the game will know, this month marks the 10 year anniversary of Obsidian Entertainment’s widely acclaimed Fallout New Vegas. Originally debuting on October 19, 2010, the game has enjoyed a fantastic stint in the public eye, quickly becoming iconic in gaming circles and going on to be regarded as one of the best Fallout games in the series to date. To celebrate the RPG’s tenth anniversary, New Vegas’ director, Josh Sawyer, has decided to host two charity streams of the game to raise money and awareness for the California Wildfire Relief Fund....

Video games as a medium allow users to escape into a fantasy world where the rules of reality don’t apply. They can transport gamers to far away locales, place them in the shoes of powerful heroes, or even allow them to play god. Few games in recent years have achieved the feeling of being an all-powerful entity as 2001’s Black & White and its 2005 sequel. Ubisoft’s newest game though, From Dust, aims to bring back the satisfying feeling of being in control of the elements - and shaping the world to your liking....

YouTube personality Belle Delphine has been banned from YouTube for sexually explicit content. According to her, however, she wasn’t issued any warnings prior, and many fans and other YouTubers are calling this a “double standard” on the massive platform’s part. YouTube has a well-known three strike policy, but before that, content creators are supposed to be issued a warning before any drastic measures are taken. These three strikes are also to occur within the same 90-day period to result in permanent termination of the channel, according to the YouTube Help Community Guidelines page....

If there’s one thing that fans of both action-heavy futuristic shooters and extensive role-playing games can agree on, it’s that a hero or heroin is only as great as the armor they protect themselves with. Mass Effect 3’s Shepard is no exception, but now an image of the alternate costumes offered with the collector’s edition of the game show that the Commander’s squad will also be sporting some updated looks. Aside from some truly epic outfits, the image also gives us the first look at new team member James Vega, as well as a few hints that every soldier may be a bit more deadly the third time around....
