The Playstation Portable was Sony’s attempt to enter the handlheld gaming world. They released the console in 2005 at the tail end of the Playstation 2’s life with graphics that rivaled the home console. The Playstation Portable was in direct competition with Nintendo’s DS, and, while they didn’t come out on top, their first outing in the handheld space went rather well and the system delivered many great exclusives. As a way to commemorate Sony’s first handheld console, here are the 10 best games to be released on it based on Metacritic scores, and we’re only including one game per franchise for variety’s sake....

Treyarch has released an all new trailer for the fourth Black Ops DLC pack, Rezurrection. Rezurrection is an all Zombies map containing the four World at War maps, which were previously available exclusively to Prestige and Hardened edition owners, as well as a brand new zombie map, “Moon.” In the trailer, Zombies audio director Brian Tuey describes Rezurrection as their “season finale.” While previous Zombie maps have all brought something new to table, Treyarch feels that “Moon” really ups the ante....

After leaving their mark on the sci-fi genre with the Halo franchise, developer Bungie is looking to duplicate that success with Destiny. Although there are several key differences between Bungie’s latest endeavor and the exploits of Master Chief, there are also many similarities. One way that Destiny differs greatly from Halo is in its multiplayer component, which allows players to group together MMO-style and take on larger enemies or groups of enemies....

Destiny players are waiting with bated breath for the House of Wolves DLC, despite the announcement that it won’t include a new raid. However, while House of Wolves is scheduled to release just over a month from now, somehow Bungie is still finding time to provide other, smaller updates. For almost a month now, Grand Theft Auto 5 players having been hearing about the game’s forthcoming content creation tools. And some time this week the first batch will finally become available. Up first is the Grand Theft Auto Online Deathmatch and Race Creators beta, which Rockstar says will release through free update before the week is up. With these content creation tools, players will be able to craft their own unique Deathmatch and Race-based jobs for all online players to experience....

The Rainbow Six Siege closed alpha is something that only a handful of gamers will be able to participate in, but the excitement surrounding the team-based shooter still has many longtime fans of the franchise excited. Talk about a long day on the trail! Red Dead Redemption may have released a full fifteen months ago, but one lone DLC pack astonishingly still awaits release.
