Well this certainly isn’t going to be making the day of many PC Bat-fans in the world. In a twist so evil it must have been cooked up by one of Gotham’s various monstrous masterminds, it’s been confirmed that the PC version of Batman: Arkham City will be delayed from its October launch day to an unspecified date in November. With the constant stream of positive and promising news coming from Rocksteady Studios, we weren’t expecting to hear something so disappointing, especially without much of an explanation....

Nobody needed to know the premise of Bungie’s next game series to get on board, but it’s fair to say that Destiny surprised some of the studio’s most devoted fan base. Thrusting players (once again) into a far-off future, the game looks to grant players unparalleled character customization, with new mechanics they hope will ‘revolutionize’ the modern shooter. The game’s first full gameplay trailer showed how dangerous the world beyond humanity’s last city can get, and the E3 demo - now available to view online - proved that Bungie hadn’t forgotten how to design a solid, cooperative shooter....

Where Epic Mickey 2 failed financially and critically - resulting in the closure of developer Junction Point - Disney Interactive saw success in Kinect’s Disneyland Adventures which shifted a more than 1.5 million units on the Xbox 360 camera peripheral. With rhythm games like Just Dance breaking sales records, in an effort to combine both motion-based cash cows, Disney Interactive has unveiled Harmonix’s new game ‘Fantasia: Music Evolved’. Inspired by the animated classic of the same name, Fantasia: Music Evolved features an intriguing rhythm-based element, one that appears to reward physical flicks and flops with tempo changes, key shifts and more....

When Grand Theft Auto V comes to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next month, expect a bit of a wait ahead of you as the game installs. Some may already have experience with this if you bought the game for the last generation of consoles, but experience probably doesn’t make the download/install times any more bearable. As spotted on the European PS Store by the GTA Forums, Grand Theft Auto V requires a minimum of 50GB of hard drive space, placing it as one of the largest games to be released on the PS4....

While many developers set off on their holiday vacation knowing that most of the hard work was done on their 2014 releases, a few, like Halo: Master Chief Collection studio 343 Industries, were kept busy through the New Year. They, of course, were stuck trying to fix the game’s numerous multiplayer issues, which have plagued the Master Chief Collection since launch. Luckily, that overtime has seemingly paid off, as the folks at 343 reveal there are multiple updates on the way....

Following news that Halo 4 creative director, Ryan Payton, had left 343 Industries a few months back, the Halo development team has been a little more forthcoming about what players can expect from the upcoming title (in an effort to quell fan-fueled concerns). First, franchise development director, Frank O’Connor reassured Halo-gamers that Payton’s departure wouldn’t affect the game’s development in any significant way - and now O’Connor has taken to the virtual airwaves to clarify another rumor that is steadily building momentum across the wilds of the internet: that Halo 4 is actually an Xbox 720 launch title....

Yakuza 0 follows both Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima with players interchanging between the two protagonists throughout the storyline. This prequel gives a look at the younger versions of the characters, while the quirky substories we have grown accustomed to in the series sometimes see the two in some hilarious or awesome outfits. While the characters’ outfits change periodically throughout the storyline as part of the natural plot progression, most players want a little more control over what Kiryu and Majima wear....

After Lost Planet 2 failed to capture on the cult success of its predecessor — largely due to a complete abandonment of elements that made the first game so good — Capcom is pulling a complete “do over” with Lost Planet 3. They’ve handed developmental reins over to Spark Unlimited and allowed them to tell a story that still falls in line with the canon of Lost Planet, but exists as its own entity....

It seems like every day someone is building something new and unexpected in Minecraft. Some of the coolest projects are those that take the locations from games that we love and painstakingly recreate them in Minecraft’s blocky, low-rez universe. After sharing the cover for the 2013 iteration of the hugely popular NBA 2K series, Kevin Durant is ready to fly solo. This year, for NBA 2K 15, Durant has the cover all to himself, and his recognition as the game’s cover athlete couldn’t have come at a better time. Earlier this week, Durant was named NBA MVP, beating out fellow superstars and former NBA 2K cover athletes Lebron James and Blake Griffin for the title....

Developed by Sony Online Entertainment, PlanetSide 2 is the sequel to the hugely popular MMOFPS (Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter) PlanetSide that was released for PC all the way back in 2003. Following up on what fans loved about the original game, PlanetSide 2 packs air, land and vehicular combat between three factions (military faction Terran Republic, freedom fighters New Conglomerate, or the alien Empire Vanu Sovereignty) into four different maps....

Through the lens of a high quality racing game we can learn a lot about the machines that it runs on. For example, before its many delays and a botched launch, PS4 exclusive DriveClub was meant to show off the console’s visual prowess and demonstrate how the new and improved DualShock controller could aid with vehicular handling. Xbox boss Phil Spencer believes that it will be possible for Xbox games to be playable on smart TVs through an app within the next twelve months. Microsoft has entered the streaming gaming sphere with Project xCloud. If you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you can stream many Xbox games to a smart device, like a mobile phone. This requires the use of a compatible controller (save for a few touchscreen games) and a fast Internet connection in order to function....

For almost 60 years now, James Bond has developed the reputation to be more of a “shoot first, ask questions later” kind of agent, a style that’s perhaps at odds with MGM’s careful management of No Time to Die, as they continue to leverage 007’s 25th installment until April 2021, one full year after its initially planned premiere date. According to previous reports, the studio’s final decision to delay No Time to Die for so long came after failing to reach a deal with any of the streaming platforms that inquired about a potential licensing deal, with Apple TV only offering up to $400m for the exclusive rights....
