The Witcher 3 is a vast and expansive game set in an intricate and detailed world. CD Projekt Red meticulously crafted a world and characters that feel true to life even though they exist in a fantasy setting. Since there are many hidden details throughout the game, it might take gamers a couple of playthroughs to catch every little thing. And, just like any good story, The Witcher 3’s plot is full of foreshadowing that only players who are on their second, third, or fourth playthroughs will catch....

After finishing Ghost of Tsushima, most gamers will feel a huge sense of accomplishment. Some will go around and find all of the armor, dyes, and saddles. A handful will get plastic surgery to try and pull off Jin Sakai’s signature look. After this euphoria begins to mellow down, players around the world have begun to talk about the next step for Sucker Punch’s smashing success. While the gamer might ponder how Jin Sakai would fare against other video game warriors, there’s plenty of other burning questions that the game leaves unanswered....

Sometimes, it takes more than an actual game to tell the story for all its characters. In a lot of franchises, games often show major things that happen to the world. Sadly, these stories don’t necessarily show the bigger picture. Thankfully, some publishers and developers take the time to release extra media to present the “hidden stories” that shed more light to some of the best game worlds out there. And sometimes, comics and graphic novels offer the best balance between art and narrative for these titles....

Over five years after its premiere, the second movie in the Avengers series, Avengers: Age of Ultron, found itself trending on Twitter last weekend. The trend seemed to build in popularity after a tweet by Twitter user @slythwalker_28 featuring four screencaps from the movie with the caption, “Can we stop pretending Age of Ultron is a bad movie??” Fans added to the conversation, expressing their love for their favorite plot lines....

It was just a few weeks ago that we were speculating on what 2015’s installment in the Call of Duty franchise would be and now details about the upcoming game are starting to spill out. The research group report that suggest Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was on the way turned out to be right and gamers can expect to return to Treyarch Studios’ Call of Duty world by the end of the year....

It seems 2014 is the year of the delayed video game. Some of the most notable game delays have included The Crew, Battlefield Hardline, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Evolve. And although delays have come to be expected in this industry, 2014 seems a banner year. Not to be left out of the current “delay-your-upcoming-game” trend, ZeniMax Online Studios has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls Online for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be delayed (again) into 2015....

It seems that a new entry in the Age of Empires series is on the cards (or possibly a remake), as the developers of Age of Empires: Definitive Edition have revealed that an entire segment of an upcoming episode of Inside Xbox will be dedicated to the series. The news of more Age of Empires content comes to us via Jennifer Godwin, who is the Community Manager for the series. An update was posted on the official Age of Empires website that details the changes coming in the next patch for Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, as well as mentioning that the series will be featured in a segment of an upcoming episode of Inside Xbox that is due to be released in March....
