If there’s any character the newest Star Wars trilogy popularized and completely turned into meme material, it’s Adam Driver’s sullen Kylo Ren. Obsessed with power and worshiping Anakin Skywalker’s legacy, he’s an unstable character with a unique lightsaber. Despite Kylo Ren doing some pretty heinous things, such as killing Han Solo, his own father, and generally being a fan of Darth Vader, it’s still hard to take him seriously. If anything, he comes across more like a capricious teen with temper tantrums than a serious threat....

Video games are expensive to produce and are only getting more and more expensive as time goes on. With increasing graphical demands requiring more time from artists, animators, and designers in general, as well as a need for more content and longer playtime from consumers, the increase in cost for making a game shows no sign of slowing down. While not a mainline Zelda game, nor an actual prequel to Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity has done wonders in fleshing out its sister game’s backstory & lore. Where the original Hyrule Warriors was undiluted fan service from top to bottom, Age of Calamity is a genuine companion piece that strengthens Breath of the Wild’s world by telling an alternate timeline story. Although it’s easy to simply dismiss the plot as non-canon, doing so ignores just how often Age of Calamity infers key details in Breath of the Wild....

Infinity Ward recently released its contribution to the burgeoning Battle Royale genre, Warzone. While a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer suite, it is also free to anyone with an Xbox One, PS4, or a powerful enough PC. Irrational fretted day and night over every detail regarding Elizabeth because not only is she a presumed important component to the story of Infinite, but she’s also player’s companion throughout the vast majority of the game....

Only a few short days ago, following leaked pre-order images that appeared on the EA Origins server, we reported on an impending announcement from Crytek Studios of a sequel to the mega-popular sci-fi shooter, Crysis 2. Now, publisher Electronic Arts, in conjunction with the developer, have officially announced Crysis 3 for release in 2013 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 - as well as offered up new details on the highly-anticipated follow-up....
