Details leading up to the release of Batman: Arkham Origins, the prequel game to Rocksteady Studios’ widely popular and critically-acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, have been monitored by fans with a mixture of interest and trepidation. Like Deus Ex: Human Revolution before it, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided takes place in a futuristic cyberpunk world, in which the population is split into two camps. On one side are the augmented humans, i.e. people who have enhanced their natural abilities with mechanical implants, and those who support them. On the other, human rights activists argue that transhumans represent a threat to the natural order. As Adam Jensen, players are stuck in the middle: Jensen is a transhuman himself, yet he hunts down “Aug” terrorists in order to protect a world that hates and fears him....

The people won’t rest until they get Fallout 4, and with good reason. Fallout 3 was one of the best games of the last generation, but it came out in 2008 - almost seven years ago. The follow-up, Fallout: New Vegas, is a little more recent, but with the same engine and similar gameplay, it felt more like an expansion pack than a true sequel. That’s not a bad thing - any Fallout is great, and more open world RPG shenanigans still add up to a good time - but it’s been long enough....

Gamers everywhere were finally treated to the reveal of Fallout 4 after years of waiting, and, to many, the debut trailer for the game didn’t disappoint. As the sport of soccer has grown in prominence, due in no small part to the United States’ performances during the past women’s and men’s World Cups, the FIFA franchise has become much more enticing to gamers curious about the fundamentals of the game. The upcoming fourth episode of Game of Thrones finally has a release date, which was announced alongside a seemingly spoiler-heavy trailer via TellTale Games. The above trailer goes over every relevant member of House Forrester, which makes it likely that the episode will run longer than average - though to be fair, gamers have waited long enough for the episode. It’s due out early next week, marking the end to what has been the longest wait between episodes for the entire first season of Game of Thrones so far....

After a number of delays, the long awaited PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 is finally just a few hours away. While this edition is releasing a good year and a half after the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the title that launched back in 2013, Rockstar Games is aiming to make the PC installment the must-own version of the hit title. With a number of enhancements and features being added to the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar has recently revealed a bit of new information that budding YouTube creators may want to pay attention to....

It seems at least once a day we are checking in with Grand Theft Auto Online, telling gamers either what’s broken or what’s been fixed. It started with Day 1, when the multiplayer mode launched with some serious problems, and although things have gotten better thanks to a recent update, there are still some significant issues with GTA Online. One of the bigger in-game problems with Grand Theft Auto Online — missing game progress, characters, and items - appears to have been fixed with an update that went live on Wednesday....

Sony Online Entertainment’s DayZ competitor H1Z1 is set to launch in Early Access later today, and developer John Smedley wants potential players to know his team is ready. According to Smedley, H1Z1 will roll out with between 150 and 200 servers on the 15th, some of which were named by fans this past weekend. Smedley also added that the PvE servers for H1Z1 would go live on day 1 for those players who prefer a lighter experience....

Fans of tactical espionage action have been waiting for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for quite some time now. It’s been seven years since the release of Metal Gear Solid 4, and three since we were given our first hints at the series’ next numbered instalment — but it seems like the wait is almost over. Some Snake-style sleuthing over on the NeoGAF forums has put together some sturdy evidence that The Phantom Pain is set to release between April and June of 2015....

With id Software’s open world FPS RAGE right around the corner the developer thought it best to release their minimum and recommended PC requirements for those gamers who might want to give their PCs an added boost before picking up the game. Before this announcement most figured, based on trailers and details for the game, that RAGE would be a very taxing game, but it turns out that isn’t the case....
