For starters, it’s best to explain that Darkout is not a game that is best served by a quick 20-minute intro video, as it requires several hours just to scratch the surface. Since its announcement back in November of 2011, gamers had always assumed that Grand Theft Auto 5 would come to PC. Granted, there was some fear that we might have a Red Dead Redemption situation (i.e. a PC port gets teased but nothing ever happens), but if GTA 4 made the jump it stood to reason that 5 would follow suit. And while it did take some waiting, Rockstar Games finally confirmed that, yes, Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to PC, as well as next-gen consoles....

In the wee hours of Friday morning (3am PST to be exact), developer 343 Industries set the video game world ablaze with the announcement of Halo 5: Guardians, the next chapter in Master Chief’s ongoing saga. What’s more, 343 confirmed that Halo 5 will not launch in 2014 as was previously rumored, but instead the title will hit the Xbox One platform in 2015. 343 General Manager Bonnie Ross broke the news in a blog post, teasing what fans can hope to see from the highly anticipated sequel....

Rockstar Games’ Max Payne 3 and Grand Theft Auto V might not have much in common in terms of narrative structure. The former is a linear thrill ride through the fractured mind of a hardboiled detective; the later – while we haven’t seen much outside its reveal trailer yet – is almost guaranteed to be a sprawling sandbox of assorted personalities, diverse storylines, and more than just alcohol for our protagonist to bury his troubles in....
