There are some games that, despite publisher silence, are pretty much assumed to be in development. Dead Space 3 is one of them, and even though Electronic Arts has not formally announced anything, the game has gone up for pre-order at South African retailer BT Games. BT Games, the same retailer that has been taking pre-orders for God of War 4, unfortunately seems to have taken down the pre-order page for Dead Space 3....
Now that Devil May Cry fans have had time to let the new look of protagonist Dante sink in, Capcom claims they are beginning to come to terms with his big changes. Aside from a new, more punk-influenced look, Capcom has remained stalwart in their claims that DmC’s Dante is just as much the wisecracking bounty hunter as in past iterations. Capcom’s US Producer Alex Jones even feels like fans are beginning to understand what new developer Ninja Theory is trying to do....
With the launch of Dragon Age: Inquisition set for next month, EA is offering players the chance to start the series from the beginning by making Dragon Age: Origins available for download on PC via Origin for the bargain price of free. Originally released back in 2009, Origins received praise for its story and was considered a solid platform for the burgeoning franchise to build upon. Awakening DLC was to follow — not included in the Origin promotion — and is still considered to be one of the best examples of how to release a compelling expansion....
Just one day after a tweet from Nintendo Magazine France outed a potential 3DS version of Epic Mickey 2, titled The Power of Illusion, Warren Spector himself has revealed a number of details on the console editions of the forthcoming game. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is on the way to Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 complete with drop-in/drop-out co-op multiplayer, fully voiced characters, musical numbers (!) and what Spector promises will be a much improved camera....

So it might not be the 40 weeks of downloadable content, but at least Volition is continuing to support Saints Row: The Third through the holidays. Unfortunately, that support thus far has only come in the form of costumes and two vehicles. The newest DLC package, dubbed The Warrior Pack, offers four new costumes for your customizable protagonist to wear, all of which carry some sort of “knight” theme. It might not seem like much, but at $3 if you’re getting bored with your character’s previous costumes it might just provide the right change of pace....
