Following the success of the original Darksiders, THQ has decided to give fans more of what they wanted. Darksiders 2 is being developed by Vigil Games and is looking to build upon what made the first game great. The sequel is said to be at least twice as big as the original, and the developer is investing a lot into the characters and art of the game. People constantly compare Darksiders to a Zelda game and though that’s nothing to be ashamed of, the features they are adding to Darksiders 2 may lessen that comparison....

Though it was surmised that BioShock Infinite was delayed into early 2013 to make room for the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 5, one analyst thinks that not to be the case. Thus far, the big Rockstar GTA releases have taken place around the end of the year, but with so many triple-A titles, like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty, occupying that space, it’s easy to see why Rockstar might be a little gun shy about an October release....

Game Rant’s Anthony Taormina reviews Mad Riders ATV racing games come in all shapes and sizes, but fundamentally they are all relatively similar. Ubisoft’s Mad Riders, for example, takes the ATV racing genre, gives it a few clever flourishes (insane speed, high-flying stunts, and detailed locales) and hopes that will make it appealing. However, we’ve seen this type of game before, a downloadable racer that tries to mimic its retail brethren through varied modes and repeat tracks, and it doesn’t always work....

Now with a brand new shiny title, formerly known as Metal Gear Solid: Rising, the next installment in the Metal Gear franchise is set to embark to a place we never though it’d go - making it a true spin-off. In one aspect this new storyline for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance could lower damage control if it is a flop....

Game Freak has announced two new Pokémon titles for Nintendo Switch and smartphones on their official Twitter page. Pokémon Quest is a freemium game that is currently available to download for the Nintendo Switch and will be coming to smartphones in June, while Pokémon Let’s Go & Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee are two console RPGs for the Nintendo Switch that are heavily integrated with Pokémon Go. There is more in store for Pokémon fans across the world, as the official Pokémon Twitter page made sure to include a post that confirmed that Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee are spinoffs and that new mainline Pokémon games are in the works....

Once the gold standard by which all other survival horror games were judged by, many fans have felt that the Resident Evil series has dropped off in quality in recent years. Resident Evil: Revelations underwhelmed whilst Resident Evil 6 suffered from disappointing sales meaning that if developer and publisher Capcom wanted the longstanding series to continue, they would have to pull something great out of the bag. Many had hoped that that special something was Resident Evil Revelations 2....

It seems that even after so many years, the creators of South Park still have a few surprises up their sleeves. The seemingly straightforward South Park RPG has received a dose of fiction along with a name change. In the tradition of the fantasy mythology the game seeks to lampoon, Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming Colorado quest-fest shall henceforth be referred to as South Park: The Stick of Truth. Until now we’ve had no reason to believe that series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were keeping anything under wraps, but new cover art, a new title and a brief hint at the game’s story have suddenly appeared on Xbox....

Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment has stuck to their word with the removal of two modes from the PC version of their multiplayer title. Both Capture the Flag and Pilot Hunter can no longer be accessed outside of the game’s Variety option or in a 12-player private match. As far as a reason for the two modes’ removal, Respawn says the decision was based purely on their lack of popularity among PC players....

To say that Brazilian developer Swordtales shows flashes of creative brilliance in their new game Toren would be a vast understatement. As a title whose ambition far outreaches its execution, Toren represents the prototypical indie game, in the sense that the limitations of experience and a lack of focus ultimately weigh it down. The game is a bunch of smart ideas, or even proof of concept gameplay ideas, boiled down into a 2-hour experience that’s neither memorable nor impressive....

Defeating the first boss of a game will always be a unique feeling of satisfaction and the Cleric Beast definitely makes you work to defeat it....
