Nintendo has announced the theme for the next online tournament in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which will be focused on characters from The Legend of Zelda series.
The next event for the multiplayer tournaments is the Triforce Competition, which will use characters and stages from The Legend of Zelda. This means that the playable characters will be Link, Young Link, Toon Link, Princess Zelda, Sheik, and Ganondorf. The stage list will likely include Bridge of Eldin, Gerudo Valley, Great Bay, Great Plateau Tower, Hyrule Castle, Pirate Ship, Skyloft, Spirit Train, and Temple. The people who win the tournaments will receive spirits from The Legend of Zelda series. The tournament will start on May 29 and it will run for three days. The themed tournaments are one of the best aspects of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, especially considering how ropey the quality can be most of the time. The people who have chosen a character from Hyrule to be their main now have a platform on which to wreak havoc on other players.
